I was given a 26 ft truck. After driving for a while we turned on headlights. Left headlight was bouncing all over. Stopped to check. That section had been previously damaged and headlight mount was broken. There were stickers applied from UHaul that we hadnâ€™t noticed marking previous damage. Passenger seat belt wasnâ€™t working. It tightened up and wouldnâ€™t adjust. Had to put shoulder strap behind me to avoid being pinned tight in seat. Advise that you carefully check outside and in because UHaul isnâ€™t concerned about safety, just getting business no matter what.

Service your vehicles. After loading the truck, it would not start. We had to wait for roadside service to come get it up and running again, thereby delaying our move. Thankfully, this was only a short local move. Had it be long distance and we were stuck in the desert, it would have been be horrible. This wouldn't have happened if the vehicle was regularly serviced and maintained. However that said, while not apologetic, the location's personnel willingly extended the return time and did not charge us the fuel fee (as we were told to NOT turn vehicle off and so it ran during the entire move time).

I had to deal with three people for the storage unit. Even though I had a text with a reservation of what I was promised to be an air conditioned area TO FIT JUST THE 15 FOOT TRUCK, I ended up with an area outside that was twice the size I needed. Additionally, it was smashed at the front and my UHAUL lock would not work. They gave me a free lock, but I wanted a right-sized unit. 733030-00108157.

I did not realize there was no ramp in the truck I rented. I assumed all trucks had ramps. It was not offered to me as an option when I made my reservation.

Don't be such cheapskates. Unused and unopened blankets were not credited back, associate said they could have been tampered with. Stop treating customers like idiots. Vehicle was rented for about six hours on a dry day and associate commented i returned it dirty. Unacceptable. Time to have a look at enterprise and penske or home depot.

Called ahead and made a reservation. Staff let other people cut us. Waited over 30 mins to get a truck, radio didn't work.

seems like the previous person who rented it smoked in it, and left the cigarette butts there. also this truck was very bad mechanically, it wouldn't shift all the time, i ended up having to drive on the service road, and once you shut it off, it doesnt always come on when you turn on the ignition. at one point it took 30 minutes for it to start, so i was afraid to get stuck somewhere and did not shut it off after that , i couldnt even stop to get gas !

Early turn in confirmation function on U haul Share website did not work so after wasting 45mins trying to avoid your $20 Inconvenience fee, I called customer service after midnight to confirm on phone. Was then told to call the rental location in the morning to follow up and waste more time. SR

Better customer service. Itâ€™s the second time that they forget the appliance Dooley. So I have to drive back to get it. ( I lost a lot of time ) last time the truck came with a lock. This time they didnâ€™t have me a lock but they were trying to make me buy a lock. Thatâ€™s unacceptable.
