Check in with David, was fine. David was efficient and informative. However, after that it was all downhill. We were told that we needed to inspect the truck before leaving with it. That was fine except it was pouring rain. We were instructed to take pictures (with you own phone) of dents and scratches that were not accompanied by an X. In the pouring rain I accessed the link provided and proceeded to take many pictures of the numerous unmarked dents and scratches. Then the link stopped and I was left soaked to the bone and no pictures. I went into the store to see if the truck could be moved inside or if I could have an employee help me with pen and paper. I was told no, they had no garage (but they did have a large tent where a vehicle was parked). I was also told by Justine Dus-the manager "don't worry about the dings and scratches because these vehicles are all in bad shape". Really! or is this just a ploy to overcharge damage missed by the customer? I went back out and started the procedure all over again, but this time I was able to complete the procedure. In the mean time my phone was ruined(it no longer works) because of the rain. I have contacted the company, but of course, no one has responded. If there was another rental dealership, use it. It's a rip off to have to pay for a whole other day when you just need 2 additional hours from your 24hr rental. Truck was older, steering wheel moved all over the place. Transmission felt like it kept slipping. Staff at UHaul were very nice!CHRISTINE Z.

App check-out didn't work for pick-up so had to go in, a lot of the reservation details I had made online had been automatically changed based on what U-Haul thought was better (re: mileage) then was not changeable once signing out the truck. Local branch told me to drop off in one place down the road and call a number, and the U-Haul support told me to return to the original place and neither would listen as I explained what the other was saying. Nobody was reachable when I was returning the truck for clarification. I know the billing is automated and the app told me to drop off in the original location, so I went there and am still not sure the reservation completed successfully and that I will not be charged for a wrong drop off location. App kept crashing/resetting as I tried to take pictures of checking the truck back in. As a result of all of this confusion the app clocked me at 11:03 AM (not sure why) when I was it was actually 8:03 AM (3 minutes late for 8AM return due to app crashing), so hoping I don't get charged for another day or another 3 hours. Closed storage unit as well and did not receive confirmation that all was finalized. The people at the local branch were kind, but overall the communication between the branch and corporate/general U-Haul systems does not seem to work and results in extra time and charges. Phone support was awful, interrupting me and not listening to me. While I would recommend this location to a friend, I cannot recommend U-Haul in general due to all of these issues, which seem to happen every time I rent from them.ALEXA G.

My daughter left her PRESCRIPTION SUNGLASSES in a case in the truck. She went back to get them and they were gone. Obviously whoever cleaned the truck after took them out. It's fine if they decided to keep them thinking they were just sunglasses, but they are prescription and they wont be able to see out of them. The equipment seemed well maintained, truck ran well and brakes were excellent. Not very clean however. Mirrors dirty and passenger side of vehicle had major dust bunnies. The no person contact did not work. There was the usual bait and switch. Wanted the cargo van and got confirmation by email. Found out day before this location does not allow this vehicle to go 1 way. No time to make other plans.ELAINE B.
