This was the worst renting experience I've ever had in the 20 some years renting any type of equipment. I reserved a cargo van and when I went to pick it up the person was on the phone the entire time I was trying to rent the van. While waiting he was taking other customers for other transactions. When he finished he gave me my key said here's the mileage and if you come after 8 pm park the van right outside take a picture of the gas gauge and mileage which I thought was weird something I've never had to do before. I said I still need the appliance dolly I reserved and he said are you sure I said yes. He finally found one and left it at the door and said there you are. He didn't show me how to use it unlike uhaul employees have in the past. Lucky I knew how to use it. The straps were not wound up they were just thrown on the dolly. Once I checked the van there was trash still in the van and not swept which I know you get a credit if you complete this task after finishing. I took pictures of the damage on the van and when I returned to show him he just waved me off. I also asked how to turn on the radio and he said it may not work. I finally figured it out. I used the van and returned after 8pm. After waiting in line I returned the van and while returning the guy said move over so I can take them. After the Second person I said can you finish with me please. I showed him the picture of the mileage showing 6156 and on a little piece of paper he wrote something and only because he took someone else I saw he wrote 6176. I said no it's 6156 he yeah yeah I'll take 10 off. I said no it's 20 off when he said let me see it again whe I showed him closer. He finally was finishing my transaction and he your done I said I need a receipt he it's in your email. I asked for receipt because I make to make sure you put in the correct information. No you don't need one and when I pressed him he said the printer is broken. I tried to wait for me email but it wasn't until I got home did I see it for the $51.69. This morning I see in my bank account I'm being charge $118.80 and still the $1.00 charge. I would like to speak someone about this before I have my bank disput this entire charge. Awful. First he asks me to take a photo of my mileage in the truck. What if I don't have a phone? All he had to do was go out there and see the mileage. And then it takes him twenty minutes to find my information. THEN he asks me to go behind the counter because he can't find something and it was very scary. I never want to go to this BP for anything ever again

It is a small gas station with a very small parking lot and the only attendant bless his heart, was busy with gas an chips and soda customers. The top deck of the truck was filthy ( not his fault) and he didn't even have the time to come inspect the truck before we took it. We took our own cell phone video of the damages and the dirty inside so we were not accused of the damage to the truck. I think U-Haul would do well to post that small mom and pop gas station dealers SHOULD be noted when suggested as a pick up location and/or drop off location. If you are NOT familiar with the area you do not realize what a time waster going to a smaller dealer will be to do pick up in the middle of the day...

Awful, awful place. He made me take a picture of my mileage on my phone, which I never had to do before. What if I didn't have my phone? How would I have taken a picture, since he obviously didn't want to leave his desk. Then it took him forever to find my information and asked me to go around to the other side of the counter to ask me if my info was correct. I felt very, very uncomfortable. If I have to go to a BP gas station again to pick up or drop off U-Haul equipment I'm never going to use uhaul again

Get newer trucks. This one had 109,000 miles and road rough. Also check engine light came on but we had no problem. Reported it but no one cared

I got lost on the way to return the truck (I just moved to the town) and arrived 15 minutes late and was charged for a full extra day!!

This was the worst U-Haul rental experience I ever had. The truck appears to need a new transmission/ hit the tow release button, didn't seem to make too much difference. The Customer service was extremely poor, no helpful information or assistance; I reported an accident -- they did not know how to handle the return; I provided copies of all information. I plan to send pictures to the U-Haul Insurance adjustor. Nasty, rude, directions were given for me to gas up and put truck back where I got it -- small gas station lot with limited space; --I locked key in car at the gas pump (my mind was still on how I had been addressed) -- I had to pay to get the door reopened out of pocket $60; that's in addition to the $197.00 rental fees;. $32.50 in gas I put in the truck. Closeout Acct. processing was also a stressful situation and to add salt to an open sore the owner called the police on me stating this was "private property" and I had been here to long (6 hrs.)--- I was in my car trying to leave at the time; Yes, oh yes-- I had been at this disappointing business est. far too long..... ** The initial issue: trying to return equipment --unable to pull straight to pump (20 ft. truck) --- multiple cars and spacing an issue. Police directed me to throw away my trash and leave. No formal report was made because I had conducted my business at this location and was in my car leaving. I am so disappointed with the service provided. I would not use again or recommend it to anyone else.

This pickup location is a gas station/corner store/car repair. It was really crowded and only one attendant on duty. I had to wait until the other customers were served because the truck rental was not a top priority.

About the place very well, good attention, but they never explained to me, every mile had a cost of $ 1 c / u and with a consumption of 720 miles the bill went up to $ 920 for 4 days ??I think that's too much, because I was rented before With Enterprice and the cost of 4 days is $ 440, NEVER AGAIN !!!!

First. This was NOT the location that was selected when I made the reservation. Second, the truck that I ordered was NOT available at this location. They gave me some lame excuse about the truck being delivered to a different location. This was bait and switch as far as I was concerned. NOT a good customer experience at all.
