this location needs to be cleaner and roomier for customers.If you have 3 to 4 people inside the store you can barely move around. Also, the wait time Is to long when you have a scheduled time to pick-up a u-haul it shouldn't take 45 min to get the vehicle.

I repeatedly tried to phone the number given to me and was never able to make contact. Even from other phones. I did not even receive a voice mail recording. I did not want to risk driving the truck all the way to the location, as it was about 10 miles away and I was now paying for additional miles and gas on this vehicle. I called ahead on Monday and was told I could have dropped the truck off and they had a key drop box. Good to know now. I arrived at a dirt lot where I was directed to park the 10 foot truck in a very awkward position. Once the gentleman in the lot was satisfied with my park job, I exited the vehicle and was alone in the log. Minutes later I came across another gentleman who told me, in very broken English, to go to the office. I wasn't even aware there was one. The office was tucked away in a dirty and old mechanics shop. I first waited while the gentleman at the counter finished up with another person who was ahead of me. This took several minutes. I was next and was asked for my contract. I hadn't brought it as I now thought it was super casual with a drop box. Plus, everyone has computers these days. The parking lot attendant when to check my rental while I waited on the gentleman at the counter to search for my contract. In the meantime, he answered several phone calls and helped each person on the phone ahead of myself. Once he found my contract, he was asking who Tyler B was, according to his computer, Tyler was the one who had the truck, not me. While we waited, the lot attendant came back and told the man at the counter that the truck was dirty and that the gas was at 3/4 of a tank. I told him it was at 7/8ths and he argued that I couldn't know that because there was not indicator line. I argued that there was and he left again in search of the correct gas reading. I also argued that the truck was exactly as clean as when I received it. After quite a while of waiting, I finally remembered that I had a photo of my contract in my phone. Once I pulled the contract up, the gentleman at the counter could now find the contract that was in my name, not Tyler's. Mind you, I have no idea who Tyler is but can only assume he was the one on the phone when I walked into the Simi Valley office. After a very long wait, and my niece finally coming to search for me because I'd been gone so long, I was charged for additional mileage and went on my way. Long review summarized, I should have researched better, that's totally on me but do agree that I should have been better informed and helped when making this important decision.

Trailer worked great. I how ever did ask for a appliance dolly and a regular dolly which i did not receive. Not having it resulted in me hand moving a very large safe that ended up being dropped onto my foot. So next time i will ensure i get the dolly i asked for.

Rental went fairly well. I had to wait for 40 + min while the rep assisted someone else. Overall, I was satisfied with what took place for ME!

As it is a part of another small business, they have their own stuff out in the yard, but all of the U-haul equipment was nice and well maintained.

I originally reserved a truck for this location for a pickup of Saturday morning, but was called late Friday night about a pickup change. Went to the new location to pickup truck and there was no gas in the truck reserved for me and it wouldn’t start up. U-Haul sent me to this location to pickup the truck I originally reserved (I’m guessing). Experience at the location was fine, the clerk was helpful, it was just so frustrating to have to deal with a downed truck and going backwards to pickup a new truck, that was probably my original truck. Will definitely not go through U-Haul again for my moving needs.

The clerk he was very rude then at the end of the rental sale he was polite. I will never return at this location again we used uhaul for years and never came across someone so rude.

Power Equipment and Supply did the best the could being that UHAUL CORP had technical problems with their online computer software. It took well over an hour to get me on my way. UNACCEPTABLE... UHUAL CORP office should have considered a discount for the long delay.

Was charged for 2 days of usage even though I only had the truck for 5 hours. Do not go here

The dealer charged me a cleaning fee of $25 even though the truck was returned in the same condition it was received. This appears to be some type of scam where one customer after another is charged a cleaning fee and most people go ahead and pay it without reviewing the final bill. After a half hour wasted arguing and a call to the supervisor, the dealer finally refunded the cleaning fee.
