I rented but changed drop off location. The canyon country office calls to return rental that was dropped in palmdale location. They found info and inspected truck. And we completed our business. We did not receive our utility dolly when we picked up the U-Haul from this location. We have been contacting this location for a refund on the utility dolly that we added and nobody is answering. Their voicemail box is full so there is no way in leaving a voicemail for a call back.

The personnel were really nice. I just stated that the trailer was not clean, I was referring to just the outside. It just came in from another client so they didn't have a chance to wash off the dirt. Checking back in was great and fast.

Make sure the trucks are clean!!!!! When it’s clean it should be clean! I really like the Dollie that was there. It helps us a lot.... and for that we thank you much.



In all my 13 years of using u-haul this was my first bad experience, first to start uhaul couldn't find me a truck based on the size I needed and messed up my order after I had reserved and set it all up, then the place I was now set to pick my truck up from was open but the store employee was not at the establishment we sat in the pouring ran and uhaul had to try to find him and find out why he wasn't at the pick up location during business hours, were waited about and hour, Then when he did show up the area for which to do the transaction was dirty he didn't even say hello only to realize he was in the restroom using it w/the door open I had my son w/me and he didn't need to see that and he also felt very uncomfortable. I was then paired with a truck that smelled awful, it screamed with every move it made he quickly said 8f after hours use the key drop off and before I could even get in the truck the employee closed up and left again , and since I was in need of that size that very day I went with the truck for I had no choice . Now this truck was bad the steering wheel alignment was so off, and the truck sputtered often I had to stay pulling it to the right to keep it straight you had to step almost to the floor to make it stop and since I'm short this meant I had to sort of stand to make this happen the truck cried when you turned left or right or tried to make a U-turn and let's not forget how you had to start the truck more then once before it actually started, I actually talked to the truck asking it not to break down w/my families belongs inside, the smell of the truck began to make myself ,my family and my helper sick. So last but not least I choose to use the drop of option for the first time only to get a charged 13 miles over what my picture of the dashboard says and when I map it out it should be only about 6 miles from the gas station , so apparently someone else was granted use of the truck on my dime I have never been so frustrated so on top of unexpectedly becoming homeless w/my young children because of a shady landlord I now have the pleasure of being over charged by my once favorite moving company I am so so frustrated.
