They gave away my reserved 17ft truck because I was 45 minutes late. I was caught in traffic!! Not even a courtesy call!! I had to take a 10ft truck and pay the movers for extra time to make 2 trips. I was extremely pisswd off! Will never use them again! I cannot recommend them.

I enjoy my experience at this U Haul location. James is very professional and courteous. The only minor suggestion I would make is to make sue that renters know how everything works in the vehicles. I would definitely use them again and refer this location to a friend.

Rep seemed rushed. Rep was knowledgeable about the vehicle, equipment and products. Location should pull truck up for customers, instead of making them walk the lot for their vehicles.

Was not aware of the online check in process and lost 45 minutes of rental time to trying to log into the app and complete the process When I tried to return the truck on the night of July 12 the uhaul app would not work and would not share my location. Had to run keys into the office just in time before the location closed for the day. Contract says truck was returned July 12 when it was returned July 11 and on time.

Unfortunately, for the second weekend in a row the truck I reserved was not available (this time down for service). I did receive a call a couple of days in advance warning me it may not be fixed by the time I needed it and they also reserved a smaller truck in case the larger one was still down, but I didn't know until I got there that it still wasn't fixed, resulting in an extra trip and more time to pay the movers...

I have used this facility before with no problems. I was given a truck with no gas, I mean below 1/4 tank. Actually the low gas warning said that there was 11 miles left before an empty tank. The truck seemed to have obvious engine problems and for the most part I know the mileage was not the same as was on the paper but I forgot to take a picture. Btw. The paper receipt showed hstbit was almost s half tank before I complained and got it corrected by the employee that was on duty. I feel cheated and the trucks maintenance was terrible which made it hard to drive. This is the first time that this has happened to me but I am paying for obvious theft somewhere along the line. I think I will use another company the next time I need a truck

The truck I rented had very little transmission fluid. The truck was not driving properly, it felt as if the transmission was slipping. I called the center were I rented the truck and they were very unhelpful. Not to mention the truck had very little gas.

I am not happy at all with being charged twice. I don’t care how you try to justify it, my account is hit twice for this 1 rental. Then factor that it’s going to take 2-3 days to credit back my account and the end result is one unhappy customer.

Two weekends in a row I booked equipment for you. The online booking experience was terrible. I had trucks booked that didn’t exist, were out being serviced or was sent to locations that had no trucks at all to pick one up. The person at the Red Run facility was awesome though. Her name was Jasmine, and she figured everything out and saved me two weeks in a row.

The customer service representative and the facility was clean, organized and very quick at my pickup location. But, nobody walked me out to the vehicle to inspect it prior to my taking the vehicle. I was given a key and my paperwork and told to locate the truck in the lot of about 15 - 20 trucks. The cab of the truck was not clean, it had crumbs on the floor and foot stains from what looked like mud from shoes. I went around and took pictures of the truck since nobody inspected in with me in case there was any questions about damage. This is something the representative should have done but it was raining which is why I assume they did not bother to do this. When I arrived at my location and opened the back of the truck I saw that there were two dollies and a large number of blankets neither of which I ordered or needed. So these were just in my way. Additionally, there was loose dog food and again mud and leaf debrie in the back of the truck. Again I took pictures of this as well. So I did what I had to do and completed my task of moving. I returned the truck the next morning at scheduled location only to be told that they were going to charge me for the dirt and I explained that I would not be paying for the clean up charge they said they would charge because this is how I received the truck. Now I want to go backwards a little to explain that my original pick up location was in Catonsville, MD and the morning of I received a call and was told that the truck I reserve was no longer available because the prior person did not return it and kept for additional time, so one of Uhauls representative found me another in a nearby location and when I say nearby I mean about 15 miles further out then I desired. The representative who helped me with this was very good, and was great to help us find another truck. But the Owings Mills location needs to stop worrying about getting customers out quickly and inspect trucks. I feel like they did not clean the truck just so me the customer would be blamed for the mess and would end up paying another center to take care of their responsibility. I have used Uhaul at other locations from time to time and have never encountered the problems I did this time. Sorry my review could not be better but this experience was very disappointing to me.

I became very frustrated when trying to pick up my rental. I reserved it on line and arrived 6:45 am (before the location opens). I received info on my iPhone what to do; however my location on my phone wasn’t recognized. So I called the 800 number and finally got help when the manager of the location arrived and helped me.

Guaranteed reservation for blankets and dolly would be nice instead letting me know at pick up that blankets and Dolly’s are not available and there is no guarantee. The truck drove very poorly.

To be honest, I can't think of anything that needs improvement. I had a great experience. James took really good care of me. He extended such great customer service. I was under a lot of pressure and a very limited time frame, but he made sure check in/out was as smooth as possible leaving one less thing for me to worry about.
