Truck was clean and ready. However, at nearly 90k miles, this particular truck should be retired. Shaking and squeaking and squealing for 150 miles was a real headache.

I called uhaul the night before to find out where I was supposed to drop off the vehicle. I wanted to drop it off the night before but the 1800 number employee was not helpful and could not assist. I arrived to drop off the vehicle and was charged an additional $54

This was the worst experience and I've been a customer for ten years!! 1st-the rental place could not accommodate the amount of hours I requested because of the volume of rentals. I spent a long time on the phone searching for another 17foot truck at last minute. The 1800 number found and booked one. 2nd-We get to the new location and I do not have a reserved 17 foot truck even though I had gotten a confirmation email AND text from Uhaul. SO we were forced to rent a 10 foot truck...extremely convenient and took twice as many trips. I returned the truck after hours as designed by the company. The location is in a secure facility with an electronic gate. We get in and drop off the truck but the gate malfunctioned AND we were trapped in Uhaul at 9pm for an HOUR talking to 6 different 1800 uhaul customer service reps after 12 hours of moving all day. If that wasn't enough, I tried to place a complaint and the customer service person KEPT saying "so you say you received an email confirmation?" Over and over, not addressing my very upsetting issues!! THEN I was told I would get a $50 reservation guarantee credit and I did not get it! I am contacting Uhaul tomorrow about the credit AND I'm contacting the Better Business Bureau! Unbelievable.

Jenice was very professional and courteous. She corrected a problem with my reservation quickly and efficiently, which allowed me to complete my move on time. As a result of her actions, I would definitely use the Odenton, MD location again! On another note, I do not appreciate how call center reps are trained to tell phone customers they are physically at a location and can resolve issues with a particular store when they clearly cannot. This results in unnecessary customer confusion and frustration, which delays the moving process.
