I have an upstairs unit and there was ZERO moving carts available. It took 5 adults 6 hours to unload a fully packed 26 foot truck and go up and down that elevator, which murdered our bodies!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS A NIGHTMARE!!!!! Amanda was very pleasant but she couldn't find any carts either. GET MORE CARTS!!!! WE CAN NOT DO THAT AGAIN!!!!!Darren D.

The manager at the Ocala location named Tiffany was outstanding and so was Mathew Johnson AFM 833006 Route, from Crystal River! They both went above and beyond and salvaged a horrible experience with Uhaul thanks to the horrific service we got leaving Philadelphia. My husband was snowed in due the massive snow storm in Philadelphia and exhausted from the ongoing turmoil of the storm and the challenges with the move. We made our reservation originally to drop off in Crystal River, due to all the domino effects of the change of plans due to the unexpected snow storm we not only ended up with the truck and dolly for additional days but our drop off location needed to be in Ocala where we also had reserved a 10 x 30 temp controlled storage unit to unload. I called Mathew with my concern for my husband's safety leaving Philly on 3 sleepless nights due to the problems caused my the storm and having to do a straight haul cross country to Florida in a mad rush because he was worried about not only paying the additional days stuck in Philly but also more days if he overnighted on route to Florida. I felt anguish as a wife that his life was in danger on already hazardous roads due to black ice and a lack of sleep. I asked Mathew to please help with the additional charges for the truck and dolly and to give him time without more charges to sleep on the way. Mathew was amazing and he immediately not only gave me assurances that he would intervene with your 3rd party vendor True Value in Crystal River to not charge us additional but he even gave me his cell phone number so I could contact him directly if we had issues at the drop off. He showed great concern and prioritized my husband's safety which gave such relief. I was in constant contact with Tiffany in Ocala the Uhaul storage location to coordinate his arrival to unload in Ocala. She was always empathetic to my stress and to our situation. She not only was so cooperative with our constant changes, but on the day my husband finally arrived in Ocala after unloading the truck with the help of great movers Busy Bee Moving that Uhaul recommended on Moving.com, he was ready to drive the truck to the original drop off location an hour away in Crystal River BUT, he suddenly had a collapse in his strength and while in the office with Tiffany telling her he felt like he was going to faint. She immediately said. "You cannot drive the truck to Crystal River, it was too dangerous". She assured us not to worry about paying and additional $900 for dropping off at Ocala, she would make sure he could leave the truck and dolly there with no additional charges. I was able to pick him up and he was able to recover after much needed rest and good meals. THANK GOD FOR TIFFANY AND MATHEW, otherwise I may have been widowed through all of this. I am so grateful to both of them. Uhaul needs more exemplary employees like them. I also received great service from Kathy at 215 829 -0667, in Philadelphia at your registered reservation center who intervened on our behalf after I called upset about the treatment my was getting at the Philadelphia pick up location. She was also amazing. They all showed great empathy and helped us survive the most horrific move of our lives. We are now happily in Florida and grateful to be back together as we move forward with the next chapter of our lives. THANK YOU TIFFANY, MATHEW AND KATHY FOR A JOB WELL DONE!BERNARDO L.

A little hard to get to due to location, but it was a large, clean, well-stocked facility and the staff was efficient and pleasant.Jo J.
Better and friendlier customer service. Keep in mind that for some people it might be the FIRST or SECOND time renting a truck. The personnel in that office acted like they expected the customer to be aware and know everything. I lost my key to the truck late at night and they never offered me an insurance for lost keys or anything. I had to call customer service which took forever to answer, after more than 30 minutes on the phone waiting, they told me to call roadside assistance (the only part of uhaul that was not that traumatic) and they gave me a price of $200 to make a copy of the key because it was not covered by the insurance they decided for me in the office (I was not informed about the other insurance options). Moreover, I ended up having to delay the return of the vehicle for the following day and couldn't move in until the following day, making me miss a day from work and having to pay an extra day + insurance + taxes. It is already stressful enough to be moving, but getting more stress from this company represented a huge burden for me and my wife. I highly doubt using Uhaul services ever again. There are a lot of areas that need improvement.JOSE H.
