The u-haul on-line vehicle return after hours didn’t work. It took quite a while to complete the on-line return process including pictures. After verifying the card to be billed I submitted the info and got an error message so it was a complete waste of time after a very tiring day.

Disappointed that after receiving initial confirmation of my rental (for 3 days) I was informed by telephone just 3 days prior that the truck was no longer available for all 3 days and that I could only have it for 1 day. This is NOT good customer service. If I was prepared to pay for the truck for 3 days then I should be given that truck no matter who else might require it. How can one plan for anything if the rental company can just change their mind at the last minute?

It would be helpful to point out existing damage to the vehicle. The entrance is s bit difficult to find, as the storage area is visible from far away and therefore guiding to the wrong place.

Chose mobile pick up to save time and pre pay . The truck was parked all the way at the back of the yard and blocked between 2 other trucks it was supposed and confirmed to be ready for 8 AM and I was there at 820 AM. When I stated that it is blocked the counter clerk was rude and referred to another employee verbally as "go and get the truck out as the man here is scared to move a truck". Very rude and unprofessional al. When asked about the insurance was not very clear what is covered and what happens if I don't get it in various case scenarios.

We received a phone call the day before telling us we had to pick up in Milton which was not on our way so after I had to spend time onthe live chat they finally had it available at the original location. The same thing happened last year we had to pick up at a different location

Truck developed a clunking noise in R/F that went away when brakes applied. Call Woody Ave location told it should be ok or come back and they would inspect it. Decided to return, had employee road test vehicle, told it should be ok to drive on highway. Had no problem on my trip but noise continued, when returned told they would investigate noise. They did not offer to deduct the additional mileage incurred by having to return to have vehicle noise checked to ensure it's safety. I think this would have been a nice gesture to show good customer service.

Overall existing condition and damage to the equipment was not well documented. Left me feeling vulnerable to potential charges I was not responsible for.

We were not given the paper stating we had purchased the SafeMove coverage when we picked up the contract/vehicle. The contract was different on paper than it was in the system as well, so when we dropped off the truck, the guy was not sure if we were insured against the stone chips in the windshield or not and also charged us for an extra day and extra day insurance, even though we were a day early according to the drop off date listed on the contract. And even though the gas was noted by staff at Woody road to not be the correct amount, he simply wrote his initials on the page showing the correct level. But because he did not change it in the system, we got charged for missing gas. Even though we filled it per the corrects levels. We had to drive from Brantfor back to Oakville to get refunded because the drop off centre had no way to help us because the electronic system showed different information than our paperwork from Oakville. Overall, we were disappointed and very inconvenienced by the experience.

Compared to experiences in the past, our most recent rental experience was wonderful! Staff was professional, informative and friendly and offered solution quickly when a dolly was not available that had been booked. Staff was standing, eye-to-eye, just plain nice. We were pleasantly surprised. Thank you for the change in staffing!!
