I parked and unhooked the trailer myself, while the guy at the location went back inside after telling me where he wanted it dropped. Once that was done, I was asked for my credit card, which I asked why; I was told there was a "glitch" and he needed it. I informed him the trailer was pre-paid before I picked it up and asked what the "glitch" was. He then said never mind, that everything was fine. He actually charged me for an extra day, without saying a word. I had a suspicion that what he was doing, so I called UHaul and explained what had just occurred, the rep on the line twas great and took care of this and the charges were reversed.

We made our reservation for a trailer a month in advance. Just before closing, the evening before our 8:00 a.m. scheduled pick up, we received a phone call saying that the trailer was no longer available at our scheduled location. We were advised to make arrangements at another location out of town! We were told that sometimes happens when you make reservations too far in advance. Huh???!! U-haul should have had the customer service to not only call in a timely manner, but to make the arrangements for us and not leave us scrambling at the last hour,.. Very disappointed

First off the truck had no straps for tying down. Luckily I had a few of my own. Main issue was they told me I had the truck for 24 hours. Then at 9:00pm got a text saying truck was due back at 9:pm. I specifically ask when it needed to be returned as I was picking up at 12pm. He said 24 hrs same price. So very inconvenient when we left a truck full as it got late figuring we’d unload in the morning and do another run. After 3rd time calling the number that says to call if can’t make it they said truck needed to be returned that night and can get another in the morning but these Indians are rude and very difficult to understand. I wouldn’t recommend but if you go to them make sure you ask all questions and are clear on everything and don’t take their rude attitude. I’d rather not give them business but I had no choice.

My main problem was with the poor customer service when calling in to rent the trailer. The regional call center guy was rude. You have to go thru 20mins of your info just to hear there is not a trailer near me. I call back to get someone else. Go thru the whole 20 mins after I tell them just to check on equipment. They found one close in my town. I made reservation . Only to have the rude guy call me later that night to tell me I was going to have to pick one up in Ceres half hour away in wrong direction. I was extremely mad at this point. He canceled reservations. I drove down to local uhaul walked in and a nice person found one in oakdale the direction I was going. Finally someone helped me with no attitude. If the rental wasn’t so cheap and nice trailers I would have went somewhere else due to the poor customer service. Also, when I picked up the trailer guy was nice but went thru 45mins of check in because of computer issues and taking photos, etc. Once reservations are made it should be as simple as sign in and go. Not 45mins of my time, especially when people are busy moving. Bad experience all around. Trailers auto transports are nice though.

It is really bad customer service to stop helping me in the middle of processing the uhaul transaction and ring up other customers, they either need to have more than one person working or finish helping the current customer then ring up the next

Take to long to get your truck they don’t know what they are doing I was there about 1 hour to pick up my truck To return I need it to wait for them to do the walk around I know I just drop truck and go Not at this place

It was as if they had never done this before. Long and drug out. took twice as long to return as it did to rent it. I had to prove that every single item on the truck was working. Lights, wipers, tires, signals, etc. When done they wanted to charge me an extra 4 cents for being 1/10 of a mile over what they said I was allotted. NOT IMPRESSED.
