They have a new self check in service which i tried to utilize. Took pic of driver, licence, and any damage not already marked on vehicle. Smooth sail... until it asked me to see attendant. Saw attendant and took 2 sec. Next time, just see attendant if they're open.

I just want to say your employee handled a very nasty customer with utmost respect. Your system was down and the husband and wife were very frustrated. After the wife threw the cash at your employee because the credit card would not work. He still remaining calm and polite. I have to say I would have lost it at that point. You have a great employee!!

Worst experience of my life. I will not only never use your company, but I will discourage everyone I know and all of my commercial contacts from ever using this company. The truck I ordered was not there, I was not even notified that it wouldn't be there and I was dropped off. I wasn't given the discount I was told. Ended up with a smaller truck and a trailer. Had to drive 40 miles each direction to get the trailer. The windshield wipers didn't work properly, the transmission was slipping most of the time and the trailer brakes smoked so bad that I thought it was on fire. I felt as if my life was in danger and everything that i owned could have been destroyed. The owner of this location said he did everything that he could for me, I disagree. The Uhaul customer service phone contacts had long wait periods and not very helpful. I am beyond dissatisfied with the entire Uhaul experience.

Positive comment: Terrence (the owner) is very friendly. My truck was not available at my reservation time due to an extension. Terrence called every location within 30 miles of his location to see if anyone had a truck for me. I did eventually get the truck I reserved. I appreciate everything Terrence did to make sure I got a truck! :)

I was in a bind and did this reservation at the last minute. The reservation person was very helpful. When I got to the location, the gentleman, too, was very accommodating.

when I walked in there was a dispute with a customer that had reserved a truck but was not able to pick it up because this location did not have one that size. Then when I returned my truck I left a set of keys inside. In inquired about the keys and was told nothing was found. The person behind the desk called the current renter of the truck and was told they didn't notice any keys. I am now in doubt of that phone call - the reason being, I returned to the lot at 8pm and saw the truck I had rented was in the lot. I checked the door and sure enough it was unlocked, so I looked inside for my keys - and guess what - they were in the cup holder, exactly where I said they'd be. The worst part of all of this was that I was told on 2 occasions that someone from UHaul would call me back within a matter of minutes to let me know if the keys had been found - no one EVER called. This took my rating down greatly. I told everyone that it was extremely important that I find the keys - that I was watching a neighbors home and I needed to care for their animals. This was just another example of people not willing to go above and beyond for the customer. I'm glad I went back and checked, because without the keys the animals (who are elderly) would have been stuck in the house without food or water. I know that way my problem and not yours, but don't tell someone you are going to check and call back when you obviously had no intention of doing so.

I reserved a 20 foot truck, an applicance dolly, a furniture dolly and moving pads for 7am today. We arrived at 7:20, we had to wait for the guy to move around trucks take down mileage and whatever else he was doing. He then comes in looks up my oder and says they don't have any furniture dolly's. I said well i reserved it, it should be here he tells me that for the dollys it doesn't really hold it. Further more nothing was ready to go he had to go find the furniture pads the dolly etc I spent about 30 minutes there. If I had a reservation imo everything should be ready to go. Dropping back off the truck was quick and simple though.

I picked up a motorcycle trailer and within 20 miles a tire shredded and I needed to spend 6 hours getting it repaired when I should have been preparing for my trip. Customer phone service took forever to figure out what they wanted to do leaving me hanging with a ton of work before me and a dead trailer I was paying for. Over 15 minutes for them to decide to have me replace the tire instead of Uhaul and get reimburesed later. When I returned the trailer the gentleman was very kind but very confused about reimbursing me. More time wasted while he tried to figure out how to handle the matter. Not happy with Uhaul.

Have some one that is better trained to check the equipment and a tech should always be on site. I spent half a day driving all over town to get my trailer hooked up. Was at this location 3 times it was rediculous I will never use u haul again and neither will my friends and family

The lady who made my reservation on the phone took my information down wrong. I needed to move a 7 foot treadmill so she reserved me an eight foot truck; not a truck with an eight foot bed. The nice gentlemen in the shop didn't make much eye contact and the computer was giving him trouble but he persevered. Was there not a discount for renting a truck when I rent a storage space with uhaul?

There was only one person working when I arrived - Had to wait in line. It was not very inviting however, the one gentleman that was working was mopping the floor before the line began so it was clean. He was friendly and helpful once it was my turn. We did do a light check before I left but about two hours into my 17 hour drive I had no lights. I suppose the trailer could have just needed some routine maintenance although driving cross country this way is wasn’t safe. That’s not really the issue though, the real problem has nothing to do with this location. I hope this finds its way to corporate. The issue was that I reserved two trailers a month ahead of time and only ONE was available. I had to drive 30 minutes out of my way to pick up the ‘only available’ trailer of the size I needed. I was told I could drive two hours for the other. I was moving half way across the country on that particular day. My lease way up and it was moving day. There was no way I wasn’t moving that day. It is unacceptable that you did not have what I reserved. I will NEVER use U-Haul again.

My trailer was not there when I went to pick it up. I reserved the trailer on line and it was rented to another customer. I am waiting for the 50.00 guarantee to be refunded to my credit card.
