Worst customer experience. You double-charged me, I emailed the manager of the location to notify him/her and it's been 2.5 weeks without a response.
Location is understaffed. At pickup and drop off, there was only a single representative working and multiple customers. Staff is friendly and helpful, just needs more help. Also I had trouble with the mobile app on my Android phone, it kept showing an old reservation as being open, but when I log into my account on my computer, it's closed. I could not see my current rental on my phone. After rebooting my phone, then logging out and back in, did it clear up.
Credit card was double charged for rental. Now I need to call you guys to straighten out the billing situation which is a waste of my time. It should have been handled correctly the first time. more frustration added to an already stressful move.
I might--we had to wait a long time as the computer system was down and the person in front of us didn't have a reservation. Once we were taken it was quick. Good customer service would have done us first and have the other person wait. Also, we were given somewhat wrong information regarding the truck. It was in the right lane but behind a truck in front of use which required getting someone to move the truck for us. Not a lot of fun trying to find a truck in the rain!
No one came out for close out, though the sign said to stay in the vehicle and some one would be there. Went inside and no visible customers but told system was down and they would close out when up again.
System was down when I got to the Uhaul location so I had to wait About 15 minutes for that to get back running. Then the truck I was given had a different mileage and fuel reading then what was on the contract so I had to change trucks, taking an additional 10 minutes.
We pick up on October 17th at 7:06am and we drop off on October 17th at 11am. When I checked our bill it was listed as follows: Pick up on October 17th at 7:06am Drop off on October 17th at 12:53 pm The person at the desk was busy, because he had at 4 people in front of us and he said are you dropping off and we said yes. He said he would check us back and that we could leave, because he would send an email of our charges. Why did we get charged from 7:06am - 12:53pm when we drop off at 11am.
I booked my Uhaul several days in advance to pick up in Norwood, MA. I got to Norwood, and they told me that they didn't have my truck available and essentially "oops, have a good day." As a result, I had to book a NEW reservation for a DIFFERENT Uhaul location. As if this was not horrible enough, Uhaul charged me 99cents per gallon of gas, instead of the agreed upon 79cents/gallon. As a result, they got an extra $8 out of me. HORRIBLE experience. Will never use again.
The service people were great. The truck was clean and a perfect size for our needs. We accomplished a lot. The truck ran well. We felt safe. Can't say enough about the customer service we received. Everyone was helpful and friendly. We purchased moving boxes and tape also. Full service location.

I was as overcharged and the location was unreachable when I tried to resolve the issue. considering a call the the MA Attorney General.
1 Following the app check-in the app said the key to the vehicle is inside. (The office) then I go inside and wait in line for my turn to just Collect the keys. I spent a lot of time To check-in through the app but I still needed to stand in line. This does not make sense. 2. There are a lot steps in the app. The cellular strength was poor in the area and the app took too long to refresh and also through me the beginning screen a few times. It was frustrating 3. Perhaps the app should collect the driver id photos ahead of the time at the time of reservation rather than at the time of pick up
The representatives didn't wear a mask at all! I parked the vehicle, did an online return and went to drop off the key and the representative told me I need to move the vehicle to another location. Of course, I didn't do this as the online instructions didn't specify anything like this.
My only concern was that there were 3 staff members behind the counter when I arrived. Their masks were either on their chin or just covering their mouth. None were covering their nose. When I mentioned it to the person taking care of me, my request was ignored.
Great fast easy service
I did have a problems initially finding where to pick up the truck. I had to call three different locations, but all of them were courteous and caring. A guy named Anthony, was at the last place I called, and he got me straight. Promote that guy!

Originally scheduled to pick up at another location- they didn't have my truck available, after being on hold for 45 minutes (after I was supposed to pick up) they were able to change my location for a new truck. Horrible experience, time I'll never get back, will never use again

if you know how to use the mobile phone and the uhaul app. you will love it. no need to meet anyone that to serve us.
