The equipment was great and the U-haul rental process worked well. However customer service experience was poor on the day. Long lines, no one at the desk when I showed up.. Several customers asked "is anyone working here?" It may just have been unusually busy that day but it was really slow to get served and when I did the employee was unapologetic and sluggish. Otherwise the rental experience was great.

Note: Average is NOT a bad evaluation - unless you think we live in Lake Woebegone, where the children are all above average. Compliments: Good staff, helpful and courteous. Good assortment of supplies, some of which I bought. The Forearm Dolly straps and the Mover's Gloves (with sticky rubber dots for gripping) were a big help. Complaints: I reserved 3 dozen pads, but when I got the truck only 2 dozen plus 2 loose pads were available. I had to make do with 28 pads instead of the 36 I had ordered. Please be sure the reserved materials are there! I also bought some supplies ahead of time online, but those items were not set aside for me. Instead they were taken off the shelf, and if they happened to be sold out (as one was on the day I went to get them), the customer is out of luck. Finally, I knew more about using the truck than the staff member who escorted me to the truck. He did not know that you are supposed to pull the loading ramp out and then hook it to the end of the truck bed. I did know because I have rented U-Haul trucks before.

Side mirror broken. After-hour drop off experience is bad because app and website are very buggy - had to add the current order and it didn't work at all in the app. Too many questions, and customer service was pleasant but took 20 minutes to answer

The left front tire was at 49 psi instead of 80 psi. I found out after pushing some buttons on the dash about 1 day into my drive. It would help if they took time to explain the controls and functions to the customer. The vehicle had good pickul even when heavily loaded. The cab was spotless. I needed more washer fluid with all the bugs in the air with my trip from the East Coast to Wisconsin. The automatic headlight control was helpful and the air conditioning was really appreciated too.

Staff was so bad , that customers have to leave, first he gave me the wrong truck and it took one hour later to get the right one, now I get over charge for two trucks and I have to make phone calls to get my money back

I had exceptionally good customer service experiences at this U-Haul outlet, with Peter (from Cameroon). He was kind, patient, efficient, and a pleasure to talk to. I also had a great experience with the manager at the West Roxbury location (I'm afraid I don't remember his name). I went there initially because it was closer to my home, but he didn't have what I needed on the short notice I gave him. He called up the Norwood location, made sure they had the truck I would need, and reserved it for me. Excellent experience all around with U-Haul! Thanks!

Nothing - It was quickly accomplished, everything was ready to go and the turn it was quick and easy. The AC in the van worked beautifully on a very hot day, and was much appreciated. The van we got had only 14,000 miles on it so was in great shape.

The’re doing an excellent job there. They know what they’re doing and I see good team work. Me kyzer Erilus is a very nice guy, when I first got there to rent back may be about 4 years ago, i felt so welcomed and I decided to keep coming back and recommend this place to people I know. To improve may be higher more people, but they’re the best!!??

Truck has front end problems shakes really bad at 60 mph on highway. They messed up my reservation. Also typed my email in the computer in correctly. Called 3 times people answered from a different location did not update the reservation correctly. My original equipment was not there. I received a 7.00 credit which was not credited to my account which is really bad! Inside the cab of the truck was filthy. Pouring rain windshield wipers were worn out! Should I keep going? I deserve some customer service this experience was horrible!

Customer Service attentiveness and friendliness is lacking at this establishment. In addition, wait time when there is only like one other person are atrocious. Yes you can get a clean truck but that is basic entry level. Now you need to create a delightful customer experience.

They never pick up their phone and they shafted me on fuel. I had a quarter tank, brought it back with a quarter tank. They said I had 3/8 and brought it back with 1/8th. Bullshit! They charged me $66 for this. I have a big move planned next week and was going to rent a 26’ truck but UHaul can GET FUCKED as far as I’m concerned.

spent 3 1/2 hours on phone and had to fix the trailer myself as help was 52 miles away. Was not pleased when no-one from u haul could contact a particular r store but could only dial the store and I had to wait to no avail to reach the store the pin that held in the plank that a car rides up on would not hold it had been forced into or by the place where it should be to hold the ramp in not happy that i had to correct the problem Dr. Lind
