U-Haul Norwood MA- When I arrived to pickup the 26’ truck, there was no one at the store counter. I waited awhile and then I called the Norwood store number and ended up getting an andwering service for U-Haul. I advised them that there was no one in the store to wait on me so I could pickup my reserved truck. She put me on hold and made attempts to call workers. There were 4 customers waiting behind me at this point. One of the workers returned and waited on me. These guys are out straight and there is not enough workers at the store to wait on the customers in a timely fashion. While I was talking to Peter the worker, another customer called and started talking about a overcharge problem which put me on hold. You need another worker to assist Peter to answer phones and wait on other customers at the Norwood store. Peter is a good worker but is overwhelmed by himself trying to wait on customers 5 or 6 deep and answer phones at the same time. The 24 Blankets when received were not folded except for first 5 in a bag.

For the third time that I rented at this location I was overcharged the exact same way. This time I took a picture of the mileage anticipating it would be the exact same scam. And lo and behold it was the exact same thing I was told I went 20 miles over then when I actually did coincedently enough it was the exact same amount of miles that they claim they went over as last time and the time before . I will only rent from West Roxbury at this point and would never recommend it to anyone. They also told me my payment what declined when I return the vehicle which would be impossible so now I’m wondering what kind of a scam she was trying with the credit card Mae Sousa

You charge too much for mileages. I rented a van a month ago and it was .70/mile now I was charged 0.99/mile. It is too much. will never rent from you again

I waited an hour in line as there was only one employee working the desk. The pick-up truck that I had reserved was not on the property. I had to take an old 10' truck to tow my boat and trailer which was not the right vehicle. It was not a good experience! The person as the desk however was very nice; not his fault.

Screwed me out of about $100 on a supposedly $40 rental. Have tried to contact the manager, but my email bounced back and phone calls have not been returned. If I don’t hear anything in the next day or so, I will file a chargeback.

for SOME REASON, THE TRAILER LIGHT DID NOT WORK EVEN THOUGH THE YARD TECH SAID THEY WERE INSPECTED. he GAVE US A WORKING TRAILER RIGHT AWAY.

Staff was very pleasant. Truck had seen hard use. The steering was very imprecise. There was a lot of play, about 1/2 turn of the wheel before any noticeable change in direction.

What a great experience we had with the Uhaul cube service moving many household items from Illinois to Norwood, Ma. This is by far not only the most economical service but also the most organized, friendly, professional, responsible method of moving anything you may need to move. The cube was dropped perfectly on time at our house in Illinois, the cube was picked up when we had stored everything we needed to ship, we just called and they took it to the warehouse where we were given 10 days wait in case we had to remove or add items to the container. It was shipped perfectly on time and available at the destination the days we had agreed. We were offered a window of several days and very economical ways to retrieve our belongings. Nothing broken, everything was perfectly OK. We highly recommended this service. I decided to write this review because We are very happy with the process and the end result of the move. The quality of this service is not very common these days on any type is business.

The truck was given to me with 7/8 a tank of gas but marked as full on the sheet, with the understanding it wouldn't be held against me on return. After driving a total of 32 miles for my move, the auto calculated gas fee was $18, which at the contract rate of $4.50 would amount to 4 gallons of gas used on a 32 mile trip. When I returned the vehicle, I and 4 other customers waited in an empty store for the employee to return.

I picked up my uhaul here and had assigned the drop off location to be in Randolph. The employee who helped me out explained if I would agree to drop off the uhaul in Stoughton that it would be a cheaper total. I still asked for drop off to be in Randolph. A few hours after I had the truck I got a text explaining that my drop off was assigned to Stoughton. So I had to still drive out to stoughton and wasn't charged the "cheaper" rate that was told to me. I am not happy at all.

Nothing! We love U-haul. On line registration makes life easier. We were moving my mom from an apartment to a single room in a Senior Facility, so had a lot of stuff to move out. 2 other groups were moving people out and had pickup trucks. They both said, next time we're getting a U-haul! Convenience!

We generally rent cargo vans for photo shoots from the Uhaul at 224 Washington St Stoughton, MA 02072. The Stoughton location is fantastic. They were sold out for my dates, so we had to use the Norwood location. The sales associate was less than helpful and there was another frustrated customer in front of me in line. After the associate started my order I asked if the van had a back up camera. He said it did not. I asked if there was one available and he said he didn't know. He processed my second van for my colleague and told us to go outside to find the associate that would help us find our vans. We went into the garage and the associate grabbed one of our keys and started looking for the van. A second associate came over and grabbed my key. He pointed out where my van was. He never offered to pull it our for me. I had to back it out of the spot. The van was dirty and the upholstery smelled horrible (in both vans). Had I felt like I would get any response from the location I would have gone back in to complain. We returned the vans yesterday and the lack of customer service was evident. I pulled the van to the return space indicated. No one came out. I walked into the garage and no one was there. I walked into the retail space and no one was there either. I walked to the back of the store and saw a window and an associate sitting. I waved at them and they came out. My company will never rent from this Uhaul location again.

I am pretty sure after driving the vehicle -that the engine light was not only on because of the gas cap.thats what I was told when I get the truck
