I received a call the morning of my moving day, saying that they over booked my uhaul. I went and they resolved it. When I got the truck. It was filled up to a half tank, and I was told it was to be filled 5/8 of a tank. When I returned the truck i filled it to where it needed to be. When I spoke to the associate and told him he interrupted me and said "well atleast you got a truck, okay bye" and walked away. He was very rude, and I will be calling the north syracuse store and speak to a supervisor.

We had a problem when we picked up our truck. The nice gentleman that works at the Taft Road location try to run the first credit card we had put in the system to reserve the truck. We did not want that card run because it didn't have enough money on it. The card was declined. Another card was run through and a hold was put on the second account. Unfortunately the first card that was run also had a hold on it . When we notified Uhaul that they had a hold on both cards nobody could help us release the funds. We were told they would be held for five days. Even though it was an extra $88 that was not supposed to be held. We continually called U-Haul, customer service and try to resolve this issue nd when we returned the truck we still could not get our funds released. We picked up the truck on Friday March 9th and still did not get our money back until Monday. U-Haul customer service acted as if it was no big deal. There was absolutely no reason the funds could not have been released. Monday Courtney from customer service follow the steps of getting ahold of the credit card Processing Company to release my funds and she was successful. To better service people in the future you really need to have a better system with holding people's money. We were very dissatisfied with the reaction we got from customer service and honestly I will never use Uhaul again. There was absolutely no reason to continue to hold our money even after we return the truck and paid our fee.

Got a car trailer ratchets were completely frozen and the straps didn't work had to I hood trailer go to parts store buy my own straps to make this work very disappointed never will recommend

$10 a day for the rental of an appliance dolly is a little ridiculous. I was told it was a $10 rental. Not $10 a day. I could have bought my own for the $100 it cost me to rent it.

The trailer leaked causing our brand new sofas to get wet. When we got the trailer to our home there were wet moldy towels in the back of the the trailer and it stunk horribly. We were told the trailer was due back at 5:30pm the next day. It was confirmed numerous times with the person who rented us the trailer. We were not told the location closed at 5:00 pm on Sundays. We were back at the location at 5:29 PM and charged for 2 days rental. We tried to check in using the check in app it would not mark our location on my phone so we used my boyfriends phone and it took about 20 minutes for the check into complete. He spoke with someone online and was told a phone call would be made to me and I still have not received a phone call and it has been 3 business days so far.

After flying into Syracuse and cabbing over to the pick up location that was requested by UHAUL due to availability of a 15 truck. I was told by Jake, the store manager (Ph# 315 849-0923) that he leased out my reserved truck although I had arrived 30 mins early. Jake promised me $40 discount plus additional 100 miles. I have called Jake since returning for him to live up to his commitment , and he has never called me back.

Prepare the units for rental when customer has a reservation! My 5x8' U-Haul trailer was buried in a snow pile by your snow plow driver. I had to shovel the unit out for your U-Haul representative, and then assist in de-icing the trailer connectors, as all unit(s) were left coated in ice and snow from a storm 24 hours before (this is a Syracuse NY location). The attendant suggested pouring hot water on the hitch connection, I suggested we try a hammer, which would loosen the ice coating, not create more (it was 5 above zero outside). The equipment was not prepared for rental, and the electrical plug/wire connector was frozen, coated in ice, not kept inside, warm, where connection to my vehicle would have been much easier. The frozen plug/connector ended up breaking my vehicle's trailer electrical plug, so I'm now going to replace my interconnecting plug. All in all, not a 100% great experience.

When I walked it he was on his personal cell phone. Didn’t act knowledge me, stood there for about 5 minuets before helping me. when he told me the total it was $75, I asked why and he couldn’t tell me why. He Insisted I had a two day rental but I had to return it the next day. I did return it early but still. Then when he pull the truck up. Didn’t clean the show off the truck and didn’t warm it up, it was -15 here. I use this location numerous times and the last few times I had nothing but problems. Probably gonna so somewhere else.

Store did bot honor $50 truck reservation guarantee. Jack was rude as was Cathy at traffic management. My 26' truck which i reserved, and recieved confirmation email if my reservation, was not available. At 9:45 Cathy at traffic management said that if "He [I] wants to be anal about it, there is a 26' truck available on Thompson Rd". The Thompson Rd location was 20 minutes away and in the opposite direction of my storage unit, it was 945 and I had a 10 pickup time, and then the store failed to honor the $50 Guarantee. Ive moved 10 times with Uhaul, but never again.

The windshield wiper fluid was frozen so visibility was difficult to maintain and even when it thawed out the wipers were junk.
