Attendant did not understand how to operate computer to complete the check-in process. Could not print a receipt either. (Was able to e-mail it.) Difficult to maneuver equipment out of lot.

the processs with renting the haul truck was terrible. the owner wasn't even there to help me out. the person working the desk had to call the person which was a little sketchy and had to do the process through the phone. the worker did not know how to loan me the uhaul.the whole process was not clear

Wa not quoted price with additional insurance when reservation was made initially only informed me the rate without taxes but actually it was excluding tax and insurance . I had to change my cc at the last minute And call uhaul on the phone To have them Submit Pymt on my behalf cause the " user other card under self Check in was not allowing me To charge another card .

OWNER COULD NOT PRINT RECIEPT SAID HE WOULD E-MAIL IT I WAITED THREE DAYS AND WENT BACK TO GET ONE AND THEN FOUND AN UNNESSARY GAS CHARGE ON THIS RECIEPT AFTER I PUMPED $70.00 DOLLARS OF GAS AT HIS PUMP. PLUS THE AC WENT OUT ON THE TRUCK AND I HAD TO DRIVE TWO DAYS IN 80* + WEATHER AND I AM NOT AT ALL HAPPY !

The person on site was not able to process my rental, they called another office and handed me to phone to complete the rental pickup. The truck was at this location but the trailer was not. I had to drive to their other office to pick up the trailer. The lady told me that she called to confirm and I did not answer, but I showed her on my phone where we talked. She then said, oh sorry, I called a lot of people I couldn't remember. The whole process was a little sketchy. This was not my selected pickup location. I was transferred there because my selected location did not have the equipment, then the location I was transferred to did not have the equipment either.

This location was terrible. The owners were very unorganized and quite rude. I am a regular Uhaul user, but I'll never use this location again.

Check out my reference ID number 1516883 where I logged a complaint for the service I received from uhaul. It took me about 2 hours, driving between 2 stores, finding 1 store unmanned, finding 1 truck without operational AC, and working with an agent who was also running a convenience store so he couldn't just give me his attention until I had my rental completed. I think the uhaul corporation needs to evaulate who is operating their franchise in the North Charleston SC area. I'd be happy to discuss this more if you'd like to call me.

When I got to pick up the uhaul, I had to wait a while. The guy didn't really know what to do and had to keep calling someone. This was a gas station so other people were getting mad he was on the phone which made it take longer because he kept having to help people. I had to wait 30 mins before he finally just had had me write down all of my information. Even my card information...on the back of an envelope. Nothing was put in the system in front of me. I didn't even sign anything. The inside of the uhaul stank. It had sticky drink spills in the cup holders and a couple of used bandaids in the other cup holder. Ive used uhaul a hand full of times. But this was a horrible experience. The wait was longer than ever and not ready for me when I arrived like it should have been and usually is. Very unprofessional and felt unsecure. Will definitely never use this location again.

I was charged for 4 days and only used it for 3. My location got changed 5 times in a 24 hour period. The truck did not have good brakes and was leaking power steering fluid and would not turn. The dolly I requested was not available when I picked up the truck. I was told it was $7.00 for dolly and got charged $28. I was told it was $14 for insurance and got charged $56. And I was told it was $.49 a mile and was charged $.99 a mile. My bill was over double of what was quoted to me. This has been my worst experience ever. I have tried to call customer service 3 times in the past 2 days and have sat on hold for over 30 minutes each time to never receive an answer.

After having our original location changed, I was just glad to have a truck available. The inside of the cab smelled horrendous, the AC did not work, the check engine light was on and when I began to load the truck there was a large screw embedded in the front passenger tire. The lady at the location said that it had gone through a thorough inspection. Needless to say I had to call roadside assistance. I ended up taking the truck back to Duncan Ace Hardware where I was originally supposed to get the truck and had been dealing with Reid and Henry since I placed my request. It wasn't until Nygeria from the Georgia office called me and moved the location that things went bad. I am grateful to Henry at the Duncan Ace Hardware location in Goose Creek, SC who went out of his way to help us!

AWFUL! The contract gives the business name as 'Ace Market' which was NOT the name on the building. There were no signs indicating that it was a Uhaul drop off location. The name on the building was 'Express Market' and the one employee had no clue what he was doing. He had to call someone to find out how to check in the truck, he barely spoke english and what he did speak was broken and hard to understand. He did not offer us a copy of final receipt and could not tell us if there would be any additional charges. He couldnt even get the key out of the ignition and had to make me do it for him. UHaul should SERIOUSLY reconsider this locations relationship with the company. After 4 days of packing 14 hours of driving and then 2 days of unloading I was hoping for a easy, stress free drop off and this definitely was not anywhere close to that.

There is a major communication problem with the person at this location. He would call another location for me to talk to someone. The number on your website is the number for the convince store not anyone connected to UHaul. It was very frustrating.

My original reservation was for a pick up in Ravenel, SC. 6240 Martin St Ravenel, SC 29470 I Ubered to there and found out I was not able to get the truck because the manager was out of town. I then had to uber back to a different location. The total cost was $61.00. I also lost 3 hours of time by the time you found another truck. Please don't allow reservations to be booked if you cannot fulfill them. I expect my $50 refund due to not having a truck and also expect to be reimbursed for my Uber.
