I didn't know the mileage was that expensive. This was my first time renting the van. I have no regrets, continued progress.
During our interaction the service representative asked me for an alternate phone number that she can call and verify at 8am sunday morning. This is the first time I heard of this. I have rented the motorcycle trailer over 50 times at least and have never had this happen. She would not skip this step and said it was the policy. I explained to her this has never Happened and there has to be a way to bypass this. I should not be forced to give an alternate phone number that is absolutely ridiculous and not anybodys bussiness. I can rent cars, fiance a car or mortgage a house without anybody calling the alternate phone number especially not on sunday morning. I needed the trailer, so I gave her a family members number which she obviously woke up. After this she tried to get me to return the trailer earlier or pay a 20 dollar fee for returning after hours. I told her I won't pay that fee because I will return it through the app/website. Not sure but it seems like she didn't even know that was a thing. The manager Mustafa seemed angry and all over the place. Yelling at the employees (who were very kind), when they were attaching my hitch because he thought they didn't put the rubber pieces on the end of the chain right. But it was fine. Overall this uhaul gave me an unsettling feeling of employees that are being taught to scam people by upper management. The employees seemed nice but timid and scared of management. I will not be returning here. I only came here because it was closer to what I was picking up, but I will go back to my Uhaul in Edison, NJ or the Jersey City Uhaul. Both of which have great employees and management. Like Erica in Edison always helps me out and is very quick and knowledgeable and kind.
The Associates were knowledgeable and courteous.
My whole experience, not specific to this location, was HORRIBLE. I never received a call the day before pickup confirming time and location, the location and pickup time changed multiple times, the truck I was given was TERRIBLE, it was clearly just brought out of storage as there was no decals, it was dirty, a tire was practically flat, and there was barely any gas. I will never use Uhaul again.

29383883 Pick Up Location: Kwikchek 123 Rte 17 S Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604 Date & Time: Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 7:00 AM, Trailer was there, but no U-haul representative, as he told kwickcheck clerk.., tell customer system is down and for him to come back at 1:30.. it was guaranteed reservation or u-haul would pay me 50$. So far I don't see any email about 50$, and trailer was there but no one to hook it up. 123 rt 17 south is a terrible location !

For as busy as things were at the location, everything went smoothly and the staff was very nice and accommodating.
Nothing keep up the keep work there in this location they are all very friendly and helpful with the whole process of the rental. The property is also well kept and clean I have a storage unit there for a couple of months and the facility is very clean, Thank you all for such a job.
This location and its employees were wonderful and have zero complaints as they're concerned. However, uhaul.com customer service on the other hand almost led me to canceling my services and gave this review a complete thumbs down. The last person I spoke with on the phone from U-Haul.com who claims she's a â€œsupervisorâ€ was completely rude condescending and unprofessional for someone who not only works a customer service job but also claim to hold a supervisor position. My advice to U-Haul; is that you properly train your employees and be sure to entrust a supervisor position to someone who actually proves to be deserving of such position.
Great all around experience! Was very impressed how well the staff sanitized and cleaned the truck. Even in the office there was plenty of hand sanitizer available as well as social distancing !
Easy process to get from reservation to pick up and drop off. The truck was very clean. The price was also the best compared with other rental companies. I highly recommend it.
I don't like how you pick a location for pick up and drop off and 2 days later they call you and change it because its not yet confirmed. Also, for some reason the first time we checked out, both my debit and credit card was not working and this never happened in my life. I told the girl that it has to be something in your system and she didn't know what to do, it was quite embarrassing, she went to another terminal and it worked, she didnt mention anything, most likely it was an error on her end, no big deal but was not the stress i needed at that moment, otherwise, it was good to get a van without a reservation.
Nothing it was fantastic
Despite checking in online, in advance, and registering for mobile pickup, I still had to go into the store. When people check-in, have them complete the if photo and emergency contacts, not while their getting the truck. It was great to add on movers but they went over the two hours I was quoted and I had to pay for an extra hour. If I knew this at booking, I would have not added on this service. Drop-off was great. Thanks for taking my unused leftover boxes back. I think you should buy used boxes back too. Even if you give customers 25% back and then resell them for the remaining 25%, you are still making an additional 25% in used box sales. Why don't you have your own movers? They drive the truck, they meet you are the move and they move you....
The staff was rude, as if they were doing you a favor by just talking, i reached 1 min before Closing n they refused to talk while being there even though the staff outside had checked my truck n billed me and it had an error, which the outside staff finally post seeing other trucks took time to take inside n get rectified! The regional office had confirmed that I will get 50 usd back cause my location Was changed post confirmation (not to mention I ended up paying 70 usd in cab and 110 usd for extra time my movers spent as my initial pick up was at 9:30 cause it was 0.3 miles from-my home and they were called accordingly) I cause of work move a lot but hv used penske and tried uhaul for a local move first, and it was not a good experience, monetarily, money wise and also billing error seemed on purpose given how reluctant they were even to see it!
