Put brakes on trailers that apply when truck breaks are applied, maybe think about gooseneck trailers as well, as someone who does a lot of pulling I can assure you costumers able use them would be happier,with better weight distribution,better fuel mileage and a better,smoother, relaxed ride. You as a company could essentially have better deals and more business with two trailers in one option meaning with a 30 foot gooseneck trailer with tandem dual 10,000 pound electric brake axles you could have a box towards the neck Measuring 12x7 then have the rest of the trailer deck for vehicle/toy hauling(generally over the axles) there for coming to a more even weight distributed trailer and not putting all the weight on the tongue and bumper of the truck

I'm not one who gripes. I never write complaint letters. But you asked... The location and the people who worked there were very helpful. They did a great job, but the entire experience otherwise was very inconvenient. I think your poor technology is ruining an otherwise great experience. 1) I talked to a local UHaul person (again very helpful) who set up the reservation for me, a truck and auto transport. BUT, he had to fight with the online reservation system for 30 minutes! He kept apologizing to me. 2) I received an email confirmation and an address. Went to the address; nope, the reservation was 30 miles away. The local employee apologized for the error but couldn't access the system to see it or fix it. 3) I talked to an online agent who didn't know why the confirmation was made for a location that didn't have the truck for me. 4) I drove 30 miles in the wrong direction to get the truck, but it took 40 minutes to check out because...yep, the agent (who like all the others kindly and repeatedly apologized for the slow, inaccurate reservation system. He knew how the system was supposed to work (along with the other two employees to had to ignore other customers to get the computer to work), but it didn't work. Why can you rent a car at an airport in 12 minutes but it takes a half hour to rent one of your trucks? I forgot, 5) when I returned the truck after hours I was happy to download the app on my phone to complete the return process. You guessed it, the app crashed repeatedly. The people, equipment and location for your company are great. Your tech is a huge pain. Years ago Dominos captured the pizza market with their promise, "30 minutes or it's free." UHaul goal should be to revamp/streamline all your technology so you can get through the reservation process in 15 minutes or less. That doesn't include the walkaround, hooking up gear, etc...all the outside stuff. That part works fine, but the part of the transaction that happens indoors is pretty terrible.

Drop Off could use some tweaking. The Rep was busy, so she told me to just leave the vehicle and she would send me an email checking me out. I prefer to finalize my business while I am present, that's why I went during business hours.

Representative not very friendly on return and did not go over charges. We also confirmed my email address and she said she would email me a copy which I have not received yet, but did receive this request for feedback. More than 12 hours after return and still have not been emailed a receipt?

You need to have a better explanation of how the gas gauge works on the paperwork that you hand to the customers or better yet have the employees walk out and check that there paperwork is correct so there would be no discrepancy with the business or the customer

This location was average but the representatives that work there made the process quick and easy, which i really appreciated. The truck was very clean but there were a few problems. 1. The truck was very hard to start, you had to put the key in just right for it to start. 2. Bad breaks. 3. While loading the truck, the battery died and i had to get a jump to get it to start again. I just think the equipment needs to be checked before renting it out to people

On Saturday when we picked up the u-haul, we were about 2 hours later due to things happening from moving. We had 2 employees (male and female) checking people in, so we waited in line. The male employee sent his customer out to get something and then to started to check us in. The first thing stated out of his mouth was that we were late and they canceled our rental but then started to check us in on the same ticket. He was very rude and short with us. The other customer came back and he made him wait while he was checking us in and we could have waited a few minutes and the other employee would have been able to help us. Then the other employee stated that she was just about to call me to make sure we still needed the rental. When returning the rental it was fine because the young lady was very nice and on Sunday the male employee seemed to have a better attitude. All said and done, he needs to work on treating the employees with respect and talk to both of them. Location was fine and not very far!
