If they were actually open the process would have been significantly simpler. However, the website said they were even when they weren't. It lead to quite a few hurdles and make the process extremely frustrating. I also never received a confirmation call the day before.

Did no understand why I had to wait 10 to 14 days to get my deposit back
I had to drive almost an hour out of my way to get a truck I requested. Even though I put in for the truck weeks in advance to make sure I had one where I needed it. Then the day before I was to pick it up I was called saying there were none and if I wanted the truck I woild have to drive the hour to get it. And that there was no way to get it brought to me. If someone sets fpr a truck in advance it should be there when they scheduled it.
Please update hours of operation of site - Pick up site does not open until 11am.
My reservation was for Monday, July 9th at 5:00 pm. Went to pick up my UHaul and place is not open on Monday at all. How would the Olathe office not know the Newport office is not even open on Monday? It doesn't even open until 11:00 am Tuesday thru Saturday. Not even an hour into my 6.5 hour trip the air conditioning stopped working in the truck. Do not plan to use UHaul ever again.

When I went to return the equipment the place was closed but I didn't know that it was actually closed because there was a gentleman and a lady there parking other uhauls and unhitching uhaul trailers. The gentlemen also unhitched the uhaul trailer from my truck stating that the uhaul dealer in Newport, Arkansas would not be opened until Monday, June 18 and that he would check the uhaul in for me and I could come in on Monday to get my deposit back from the uhaul. The following morning, (which was just a few minutes ago) I contacted the customer service representatives and was told that she would check the trailer in for me and my deposit would be in the mail by Tuesday coming from Arizona. The representative was very nice as well. I appreciate her but I have not spoken to anyone from the uhaul rental facility in Newport, Arkansas. When I rented the trailer I was unaware that the drop off in Newport, Arkansas would not be opened again until after June 24 but the date of my rental was June 14. Had I not called customer service would I have been charged late fees for a trailer I only rented for a few hours? I am not very pleased with this situation but the Arizona rep that I spoke to did reassure me that she checked the trailer in and I would be receiving my deposit in the mail.

Charter was wonderful. She had problems with the computer program and had little support from Little Rock. Need to fix computer program to be more funtionable . We waited an hour for her to be able to get us checked out.
I simply needed to rent a transport trailer yesterday, after over 2 1/2 hours I left with a trailer. The lady at the rental location was super and knowledgeable. However the U-haul computer system kept locking up. She spent 45 minutes on the phone trying to get to help from Little Rock "traffic" before being able to complete the transaction. The call was on hold so long that it rolled over to other state service centers that could not help. Seems to be a problem with the system and I feel that I should be compensated for the inconvenience. I had arrangements at my destination that I was not able to keep due to your system problems. Please keep in mind that the lady at the rental location did her job effectively and the Little Rock traffic person helped her handle the issue. I had reserved an appliance dolly but they did not have one available. The only one they had was a regular dolly
We live in a very rural area, and this is the only U-haul site nearby, but we need more variety in trucks. I ordered a 20' truck, but only a 26' truck was available. It was very difficult to maneuver that extra 6' of truck in the spaces where I needed to go.
first improve the care of customers service at hand in the moment.(like myself). allow some buffer regarding final bill. Because people don't take the same routs unless you provide maps of destination .Which you have the ability to do. Without adding extra exspenses
The owner was very nice and knowledgeable. He answered every question and made sure we were well taken care of. I will recommend him to anyone.
