We were in our car behind the truck driven by my son. A LOT of sheets (foot square at least) flew off the roof of the Uhaul truck. Might want to check for that. We stayed far enough back once the first one fell. Thank you

Truck was dirty and noticeably damaged that wasnt documented. They didn't even come out to inspect the truck. Truck had less then half a tank of fuel as well upon pickup. Then after I had driven only 20 km and put gas in they tried to charge me an additional $10.

The depot itself was not bad at all. However the truck that we had was very bad, very unsafe, and not road worthy. The truck's brakes did not work properly and it took a long time for the truck to come to a stop which was very dangerous particularly in winter conditions. When pressing the brakes I could feel a grinding sensation through the pedal which made me feel uneasy. The passenger door DID NOT OPEN! Everybody had to get in from the driver side. The door did not even open on the inside. This is very poor to let out a vehicle the need new brakes and has one working door. The truck steered to the right constantly which again shows it is in desperate need of a service. Finally the horn did not work. I hire from U-haul regularly and frankly I am appalled at the condition of this truck, and the face that u-haul thought that this truck was okay driving. I would never ever let that truck out as it is very dangerous and unsafe.

Needs a better customer Service. Roadside assistance was useless, said driving in snow was like driving in a hurricane. Learn to hang up the phone before talking about the customer to other employees. Clean the truck before use especially if you charge a fee if we don't (remove dead animals, garbage and broken glass) replace broken wiper blades so customers can see while driving. If you charge $30 plus $1.60/l to refuel, the truck should be provided full, not 36 miles to empty. Absolute theft from start to finish, will never use again

Van had a warning that one of the tires was low but not flat. Didn't worry about it since I assumed ti would be looked after and wasn't urgent. Van behaved very well.

My boyfriend and I were moving on the first of January we had reserved a truck and a dolly as we had a lot of heavy things, we pack our boxes this way because we thought we’d have a dolly to assist us with bringing everything to the truck from 5 floors up. When uhual had called us to switch locations they did not inform us that we would not have one to help us, we had to find out when we went to pick up the uhual, it took us from 12 noon to 9 pm at night to move completely because it was just my boyfriend and I moving, and we had to carry boxes 1 by 1. Now about the location I understand it is the first, a holiday, but we were moving in Westboro and the only truck available was in manotick! It is the first of the month, uhual should be open and prepared for people moving on that date. The man who helped us at the pick up location was very defensive when we tried to discuss and clarify prices we also felt rushed when we asked questions and filled paper work. He also did not communicate the location well either, we had gotten lost. The uhual had coat hangers and old pieces of carpet from the previous users so that got in the way a lot as we moved. This was my first time using uhual and I am very disappointed about the service we received.

I ordered a utility dolly but this location did not have one at the time of pick up. It would be helpful if Uhaul could let customers know the availability of equipment at the time of booking. I would have picked the truck up elsewhere if I had known they did not have a dolly. In addition, there was no windshield fluid in the truck. As you can imagine, the windshield got very dirty (due to winter driving conditions) and this made driving difficult. I would suggest the owners regularly refill the fluid.

Review the prompts that appear on the customer screeen when in store they pick up the truck. The messaging is confusing and doesn’t always make sense. Overall great experience and went back to rent a truck 3 times in 2 weeks.

Ensure that refunds on deposits are processed upon payment. I paid cash and the "hold" is still on my card hours later. This is not acceptable when you're moving. Very disappointing

Extremely expensive rental $140 for 60 kms plus $30 of fuel, and an argument over the gas I put in when I returned the vehicle was also not appreciated

The vehicle had a urine smell and there were parking lot receipts across the dash.

Pick up was fine but if you return it back to this location, even though the sheet indicates that there is only 3/4 of a tank of gas in the truck on pickup and it was returned with 3/4 of a tank as indicated. Be sure to have the fuel top up to full upon return or they will try to charge you there 1.52 per liter for the extra 1/4 of the tank of gas.

I had rented a dolly and they didn't have one and said it was "location dependent". I would have rented from a different location had I known this.
