Was instructed by staff to do an early morning drop off because this location didn't open until 9am. When I arrived at 8am, was met by a very unprofessional woman on a golf cart throwing her hands in their air repeatedly as if I was trespassing. Once I explained I was just following instructions she told me to "give her the keys, and she'll charge me a service fee". Very unprofessional. Next time, start with a "can I help you?"

Vet the movers listed on your website better. I contacted one of the FIVE STAR rated moving help services listed on the U Haul website to assist me with my local move. The company (Lee County's Finest Movers) agreed via text to supply 2 professional movers to meet me at my home at 9:00 am on the move date (9/13/24). When they had not arrived by 9:15 am, I texted them and was informed it would be "closer to 10:00" (without any explanation or apology). When LCFM did not arrive by 10:15 am, I texted and called them and got no response. Over the next two hours, I called and texted LCFM every 30 minutes or so and got no response. At some point, my girlfriend and I decided we needed to (frantically) begin contacting other local movers, friends, acquaintances and ANYONE ELSE WHO COULD POSSIBLY HELP on such short notice. Eventually, we found two nice guys (not professional movers) who work for my interior painter to help us with the move. They charged us more than LCFM's agreed upon price, and we helped them load and unload. And before we found these guys, we started moving stuff from our house to our garage by ourselves (we're both senior citizens with back and neck issues) because we thought we were going to have to complete the entire move by ourselves. The move was substantially complete by 3:30 pm (although our new movers unloaded everything into our garage rather than individual rooms as we had wanted) after which I returned the truck to U Haul. At 4:21 pm (7 hours and 21 minutes after LCFM was scheduled to arrive), I received a text from LCFM apologizing and offering to help with my move. (A lot of good that did.) I did not respond. And by the way, our backs and necks are not feeling so great and we still have lots of unloading and unpacking to do.

John G1st. Don't tell customers there will not be humans waiting for them to check in! 2nd. Give customers better apps to download that will work! 3rd. I am not so sure the video's are easy to understand everything customers need to know!
