Whoever is in charge of the uhaul on jean talon should be fired, I do not appreciate being called to be threatened and intimidated of some ridiculous late charges of 1000$ because I am running an hour or two late on my return of the truck. Considering they were not even ready for me to pick it up and I had to wait and lost time on my rental time waiting for them. Do not go to jean talon uhaul they run their business by extorting people. I wouldn't go there again or recommend anybody there. I even asked by email the day before for an extension of hours, with NO response.Marco F.
Beaucoup de dysfonctionnements du site internet que ce soit pour la rÃ©servation comme pour le retour du vÃ©hicule. J'ai remis du carburant dans le vÃ©hicule en me fiant aux indications sur le contrat de location, ce qui me paraissait cohÃ©rent (environ 6 litres pour 31 km) et il m'est facturÃ© deux litres supplÃ©mentaire car je n'aurais pas rendu le rÃ©servoir Ã 15/16 de plein mais Ã 7/8. Lorsque l'on connaÃ®t la prÃ©cisions des jauges (et l'absence de marque Ã 15/16 sur le cadran), cela prÃªte Ã sourire. Ã€ moins que cela soit une pratique dÃ©libÃ©rÃ©e de votre part. Si les vÃ©hicules Ã©taient plein au dÃ©part, il suffirait au client de faire le plein au retour, et il n'y aurait alors pas de problÃ¨me de jauge...Hugues B.

Reserved a 15 foot truck weeks ahead. When I went there the agent keep arguing I reserved a 10 foot truck which was clearly not the case, my email reservation said 15 feet. The guy did not event wanted to look at my email and keep arguing it was 10. Very rude and condescending. Then the manager came and said " you should have gotten a text, email to notify for the switch. I did not received any kind of communication. I've been working on customer support for over a decade and could not believe when they said they overbooked the 15' trucks and could only let me get a 10' the morning of my big moving day. "You should have check your spam folder before coming here". First who check their spam email everyday and second i did not even received any kind of email. It messed up my whole moving day, had to do multiple back and forth and was not even able to complete it because half my stock could not fit. Have to schedule a second day of moving which is very problematic. Will never again do buisness with U-Haul, and already started sharing my bad experience with friends and told them to stay away for U-Haul. This situation is beyond ridiculous.Ã‰tienne B.
Inform them that the trucks' driver side doors are not supposed to be unlocked by key. I can see some overly reckless person breaking the key off in the lock thinking they could force the door open.Peter C.
They forgot to give me my trolly so I got a refund later. But this did cause me some trouble and difficulty. Maybe having a standard checklist that front desk workers follow would reduce the risk of these things happening.Mohammad Mehdi S.
Don't charge an after hours fee when there's a curfew because of a pandemic and people are rushing back home to not get a hefty fine. We tried to do the self check in at home but the app wouldn't let us. When I explained that to the people working at the office the next day they weren't sympathetic. Also, keep the gas tank full so people don't have to count the liters. they just fill it out. that's also a waste of time.Edam A.

Customer service was USELESS. I filled everything online to self checkout and he still made me waste 30 minutes inside while the nimrod couldn't figure out his head from his ass. And his two colleagues - MOTHER AND SISTER spent the entire time talking to a buddy on the phone and a friend visiting instead of helping the very useless child. The back of the truck was not clean with screws and nails at the back. It is not practical to rent a truck with 1/4 fuel tank filled. Why don't you just rent with full tank as everywhere? Poor customer service. When you rent, you have the choice to do it on your phone or at the counter. If I do it at the counter, it is not to receive message to do it on my phone while I am at the counter.FrÃ©dÃ©ric P.
