New inexperienced workers. Not available to assist you. Always on the computer behind a counter hidden by stuff they want to sell. Many vehicles scattered around and no staff to support what a customer may need. VERY disappointed. I will not return. I will use a smaller more customer friendly location even if I have to drive further. NOT local friendly.

Great location but if you use the adjacent Mobil gas station to refuel plan for extra time as it is very busy. I arrived at U-Haul at 1 minute before closing time and the staff stayed to check me in. Thanks

Make sure that when a confirmation is sent with a location, that the equipment is actually at that location. I drove to salinas only to be told I needed to drive to monterey.

When I arrived to pick up the truck-no one was in the main "showroom"...I waited approx. 10 minutes for someone to show up.

Broken head light switch was almost impossible to turn. Light inside the truck did not work making it difficult to load in the evening. We were not advised that using the pads and the hand truck that we already inside the truck would cost extra. If someone had just said, hey don't use those unless you want to be charged, it would have been fine. Staff was completely uninterested and unengaged. Looked like they all hated their jobs.

I had the 24/7 method all staff at location great but verifying online using alternative phone number is way too difficult if moving on own, not told would need to have another person verify rental. Otherwise great experience.

I am *VERY* unhappy about this location. It is not the store's fault - it's UHaul's fleet management. I had to drive an hour to this location from where I was moving from, and wasn't told about that until *I* called to inquire about where my pickup location was. I booked almost 2 months ahead of time, and had to drive 2 hours total out of my way, with *zero* accommodation from customer service when I was asked why this was. I get that you have more people moving out of CA then in, but that is not your customer's issue - making someone drive two hours out of their way to pickup your equipment is simply unacceptable.

I get two miles out before we realized the van had a flat tire. Waiting to get the tow truck out meant I was “late” for my return. Thankfully, the girl who checked me out made sure I wasn’t charged an extra day. But come on, check your vehicles better. The van kept saying low air pressure in RR tire and yet it was ignored.
