I asked if a basic safety check was done i.e. brake fluid level, tire pressure, lights. They said they were not allowed to do anything by U-Haul rules.

I had to contact the location three times to get them to order it then I get a text it's at another location that was harder for me to get out although they were very nice I was supposed to pick it up Thursday night I got the text saying I couldn't have it till Friday night then it said I can have it Friday morning I needed it Thursday night also when I went online to look for a 15 foot truck they said it helped three rooms it did not also when I first looked at the price was $1300 when I went to get it it was $1900 big price increase I will never recommend u haul to anyone. A private mover would have been easier and less expensive.

I was charged $110 for a "safetow" coverage without my knowledge or permission. I was charged for an additional amount for CT passenger vehicle rental tax when this additional tax was not applicable to my trailer rental. This tax only applies to "motorized passenger vehicles" according to state law. I consider these additional charges to be fraudulent and misleading in nature.

U-Haul reservations should NOT allow a customer (me) to reserve a pick up at a location (Danbury) when the equipment is not available there and then tell the customer the night before a move that they have to drive 15 miles (30 r/t) to another location. The mid-huson service rep on the phone explained that they could/would not compensate me for the extra mileage. So that speaks for itself. I asked why tU-Haul (a) would allow a rental from a location without inventory amd (b) why they did not have a driver move the unit to the reserved location (as rental car companies do) and he was not helpful, evidently this was the "U-Haul" way of doing business. You have to realize that moving is not always a relaxing walk in the park for customers and that such an attitude leaves a bitter taste in the customers mouth. Oh well this is better than having the equipment (a trailer) entirely become unavailable - which is what happened several years ago. Also, when the truck was returned to Danbury on Thursday PM guess what - there were several 20' trucks sitting there. In fact your ability to track your inventory is a mess. Seems to me that Uber will use your less-than-acceptable customer service to compete with you and then we shall see whether or not anyone reads these feedback comments.

The service people were slow and careless when it came to Uhaul rentals, as this appeared to be a secondary line of business to them. One service person commented on how Uhaul kept them too busy away from their primary job, and overall seemed rather lazy in completing transactions for Uhaul, taking their time even though there was a queue building. I would recommend that the owners and workers of this establishment take their job more seriously and work on a better customer experience. I would strongly recommend to friends that they stay away from this location.

UHaul changed my pickup and drop off so it wasn't very convenient however they did give me a good deal to make up for the inconvenience personel at this location were great and very helpful

Reserved truck on-line to be picked up at a specific location. I was not informed of the change of pick-up location until I was just about t the door to pick up the truck. If you're going to allow a reservation to be made and a request to be made at a specific location either honor the request or contact the person making the reservation within a few hours that no vehicle is available at the requested pick up spot.

I made reservation on line and you company did not communicate the location change. Also I ordered a van but it was not available so I had to take more expensive one instead of .99/mile I had to pay 1.29/mile. I hope you will cover this.

uhaul computers down, really an establishment to buy and mount tires, no dedicated uhaul rep. Man very busy, but helpful. Great location.

I didn't sign up for this location. I signed up for Bridgeport and had a confirmed pickup but uhaul didn't have a truck ready for me. This location was completely out of the way and a major inconvenience . Would never use uhaul again. You guys need to figure out a way to honor commitments. If a truck is reserved the customer should get it. It's not my fault or problem if other customers don't return their trucks on time but honestly your policies are beyond terrible. I wish I never used uhaul and never will again
