The van only had 352 miles on it but drove like it had been rammed into a curb it pulled so hard. The interior reeked of smoke. They marked the gas tank 1/8 gallon higher at checkout when it was clearly sitting at a half tank.

I originally wanted to pick up closest to my house. After making my reservation online 3-4 days prior with a preferred pickup location I get an email and text 1 day before my move with a location several more miles from my house. I was getting a one way rental and the mileage was close, so I needed every mile before going over the limit. I'm not sure Uhaul understands what a reservation is... I guess maybe I'm expecting too much to have them actually find a way to get me a truck at the location I requested or at least tell me then that they cannot. When I called I was simply told "we don't have a truck at that location." So my advice is, set up your website to know if there will be one available since there is such a thing as tracking your inventory, and have the website tell me then if something is available to not, after all, this is a RESERVATION! Walmart can tell me how many bags of a certain type of rice is in the store, and Uhaul can't tell me where their $50k truck is going to be? The one day notice doesn't really give me time to do anything but suck it up, which is really nice, because moving isn't already stressful enough. Also, my truck came with 1/4 tank of gas... so thats great because now I can't even make my one way trip out of town without first stopping to get gas... I guess expecting to have a truck ready to go is just me having too high of expectations.. My bad. So now I have to fill the truck up before leaving town while I'm paying movers by the hour... Thanks Uhaul. That goes back to your website, it should know I'm driving over 80 miles based on my pick up and drop off location, so it should know to give me a truck that has a tank full of gas. The app and website that is suppose to make it convenient and fast really puts you to work too, I end up taking pictures of the truck, myself, my license, prior damage etc. just to get the truck.. I don't really appreciate being put to work when I'm paying for a service. Sometimes having employees is best because again, this is a service. those same employees could do things like swap vehicles to needed locations, fill up the tanks, check for damage, you know, the things that employees do and customers shouldn't have to do. Next time I'll consider other services since this experience was added stress/annoyance/frustration. It's not so much about the money as much as convenience when moving.

Mobil location on government Blvd yes Tammy, George and Phillip need praise and raises. However the other location close to them needs revampment did have any idea how to install hitch or how to hook up trailer got told to go buy a fuse???? Was nothing wrong with it returned to the location for them to tell me they were closing and I could either refund charges or start my contract no help what so ever and customer service said they would install hitch one girl named Stacey my husband had to put the tongue in and me the cotter pin ! And then she missed the plastic seal! Thank goodness George was great rest stalled the hitch and got the lights to work no problem! So my advice to you would be to close down the airport Blvd service road location they have no clue!

The experience was excellent. I rented from one lady who did a great job...then came back to pick up more supplies and was attended to by the on duty manager who also was excellent.

The truck had a bad transmission, oil leak, bad suspension and even the charging port didn't work (wick stinks on a long move). Their equipment is poorly maintained.. I will state this on social media as well. The Mobile location was great, but again the truck was poor and dangerous.
