Truck had worn out shocks and bushings were split and broken. Front end alignment was so bad, truck pulled hard to the right, and front right tire was significantly worn along outer edges, presenting a safety issue. It took 6 hours to get truck due to poor Uhaul system, but pick up location figured out a work around.Ryan M.
Hire employees who don't mind being at least a little understanding when UHaul screws up - BIG TIME. UHaul needs to create & implement a process to allow Customers who've already gone thru the online check-in process to get the equipment that is immediately available - even when your 'system' is down. Paper still works. Customers might also be trusted more. UHaul does have credit card info at that point. It cost me ~$150 extra (hotel, meals, etc) to wait an extra day for equipment that was available for use the whole time.Daniel K.

No customer whatsoever.. I walked in and acknowledged and greeted the general manager... and he ignored me... didn't acknowledge me... Then he proceeded me to come to another register..I also purchased mattresses cover for my bed and did not receive it...Tamika H.

We reserved a uhaul online one location in mobile they sent us to wilson rd in pritchard where the owner was not there did not leave keys and was on an errand and would not be back for 30 mins and was very rude. We went back to the springhill location and they didnt have a truck that was just for one way and they sent us to govt street where they over charged us and didnt fullfil the reservations we had and rented us a truck as if we waked in off the street. So when i got to the drop off location they fixed the double reservation or that would have been an issue i would have never known about. Very dis satiafied and wont use uhaul again.Mica M.
When there is an active dispute on a damage claim, evidence should be presented of the undamaged vehicle the moment before it was handed over. I have requested this evidence and have explained at length to the manager responsible for providing this the reasons I believe there was not adequate time for an inspection, for sure no time for a cleaning. I was returning faulty piece of equipment and was being treated as a problem when the vehicle I was given pulled on the lot to be returned. To my memory, there were only a couple of moments between the last customer handing in the keys until they were placed in my hand. I drove the working vehicle for 24 hours and I do not remember hitting anything! Let alone anything that would make a damage claim. I am an attentive driving small business owner painfully aware of details that would cost me further, and painfully honest. All I ask is for honesty in return by showing the evidence of the pictures taken just before I got the truck. The problem I see is the manager I am dealing with would be the same one responsible to have taken those pictures, and was the one who made the equipment return more like an altercation than a professional exchange. I have given this manager 7 days to reply and find it EXTREMELY unprofessional that he has not. I dont know that this life long Uhauler will ever return to business at any location after this ordeal.Micah P.
The staff here were rude and dismissive. One girl was on her cell phone and kept holding her hand up to tell me to hold on. Others wore bedroom slippers. They were unprofessional and disrespectful.Maggie M.
The clerk that waited on me failed to inform me of many things. (i.e., I was not told that I have to take pictures of anything). He mentioned check the mileage, but never made it clear that I'd get information to my phone or any of this. When I returned the equipment there was some big mix up concerning the mileage an they were not able to figure it out after I waited almost 30 minutes for them to get that correct, only to be told that they would fix it later and send me the information. No happy with this service at all.David F.
