EDUARDO RAbsolutely unacceptable experience. I scheduled a pickup at 12:30 PM for both a vehicle and moving materials (boxes). When I arrived, I was told they didn’t have any of the moving materials available. I had to call customer service, where I was stuck on the phone for over 30 minutes. The representative on the phone then told me I had to go to a completely different location to pick up the boxes. I had taken an Uber to the original location, so I was forced to use the U-Haul truck and waste mileage just to get the materials that should have been there in the first place. I was told I would receive 21 extra miles for free due to the inconvenience, but that was never honored—I was charged normally with no adjustment. Because of their disorganization, my 12:30 PM pickup turned into a 1:45 PM delay, which affected my entire moving schedule. Poor communication, lack of accountability, and false promises. I would not recommend U-haul to anyone.
Rudy PMy reservation was for 9 A.M (within hours for the location). The door was locked, and there was a sign at the door with the phone number to call, because the employee was elsewhere on site. I, along with another patron, spent about 40 minutes calling and waiting. When the employee did arrive, he mentioned that he simply didn't know where the manager's phone was. For what it's worth, he was very kind. However, I'm sure this lack of communicaiton are not the expectations of U-Haul.
