I was not told that I needed to check in before returning the keys after hours. So when I went to check in my equipment, I was not able to write down the mileage or take a photo. So I made sure to call her a representative and let them know what had happened. she explained that it was fine and it happens all the time. That she checked me in at 10:00 and to make sure I called the following day to let them know. When I called the following day I had been charged an extra $20. when I tried to dispute this the man was extremely rude and hung up on me when I asked for a manager. I will not be going back.

Could not do mobile pick up as intended. Was a huge inconvenience. As many times as I tried it wouldn't take my picture of the pickup location... I went inside and had a lovely experience with a blond haired woman who was very helpful and got me checked out fast. Only negative was trying to do pickup via mobile. Staff was great! Very helpful.

The truck doors wouldn't close all the way had to lock the doors so they wouldn't open while driving it. Transmission wouldn't shift right the rpms would jump up for no reason. The steering was off had to fight it the whole trip. The brakes squiled. All in all it was the worst truck, but to make matters worse this was the same truck that my husband rented just a few months ago when we moved, and he complained about some of the issues then, so not only did they not get fixed they got worse. Thank you

Taking a picture of your identification for the website was a hassle, very negative experience, your employees should be allowed to physically handle documentation, they're adults that should know how to was their hands and sanitize equipment, after all they were very professional in helping me from a distance.

I was charged $800 in damage to the truck for a small dent and two decals. I DID NOT in any way cause any damage to the truck. When I was telling someone about this they said the same thing happened to them! Do NOT go to this Uhaul. They have some sort of scam going on. Believe me, no damage was done to the truck while I had it!

I got to the location at 6:57 pm and the store was already closed down i knocked on the door and nate the store attendant poked his head out and said we don't do reservations after 6:45 (the door clearly states they close at 7 among the plethora of homemade signs on the door, I told him I needed to upgrade to a larger truck and he said he'd said he'd switch it but I'd have to do the 24/7 rental online I set up and closed the door, while doing the rental he comes out after close and drops the key on the wrong box without saying a word to me to which then I spent 30 min on the phone with customer service to get the code. I feel this was very poor customer service on his part. However the manager did say he would talk with him about his lack of indifference to customer needs

I would not recommend UHaul to anyone due to the ridiculous process to rent a vehicle. I set up my profile on line the night before to supposedly shorten the process...when I got to the location the front door was covered up with instructions on how to complete an on line account...take and send pictures of the gas gauge..vehicle miles & the vehicle itself and then wait for instructions from the West Coast to get the keys. More pictures and big process to return. I drove the cargo van 11 miles and UHaul added on 7 dollars for gas. I didn’t dare appeal.....keep the 7 dollars. UHaul...surely you are better than this, if not, shame on you. Every person Picking up a vehicle that morning were visibly angry and frustrated by this ridiculous process. I do not usually send negative comments but I will have to be in a real pinch before I ever use your service again.

My original reservation was at pitstop EZ mart in Middletown Ohio. It took forever to get approved. The code for the compartment did not work. About 45 min. later,I had to call and I got the $50 guarantee and moved my reservation to a different location. Now went to verity pkwy uhaul and noticed my keys were not in the compartment. After about another 45min. Turns out the keys were in the truck. The vehicle was nice and enjoyable though

The self-checkout process was a painful and frustrating 30 minutes that ended with another customer driving off with the same truck I was was being assigned ( as he was assigned the same truck at the same time). I nearly canceled the reservation right then.

The young lady was proficient, professional and proactive. My browser was acting up and prohibited me from doing much of the online processes. She jumped in, at a social distance, of course, and handled the administrative details. The truck was very clean and well mannered. I would do business here in the future.

I had set up the rental prior to going to the store giving them all the information and then still had to give them the information three more times and use the online check in and it still took over an hour to get to Equipment. If you want me to use the online check in then I should never have to get the information again it was a big runaround and a waste of my day.

Waited for 45 minutes for help with 2 workers there. We did not receive a greeting or a “may I help you?” I finally called customer service because the online check in kept kicking me out of check in. Not happy at all.

Locking bar on appliance dollie would not work. Fortunately, we had a ratchet strap with us. The Customer service portion was excellent and Nathan was very helpful. We have used your services in the past and would highly recommend.
