Everybody there seems to be pretty wonderful from the staff that rented me the truck to the staff that I returned it to they were different groups of people but overall everybody there is Pleasant easy going and nice to deal with. I'd recommend this place to any of my friends and I'm definitely going to rent from them again thanks guys

The van had a very heavy smoke smell. They should check when a vehicle is returned if someone has been smoking in it and charge a fee to clean it up. Most of all, do clean it.

The guy who received the truck charge me fuel incorrectly. I brought the truck to the location as I received with 1/2 tank. I am so disappointed, that guy is such a liar.

I Was not advised as to a $30 charge for using their gasoline service, $3 of gas costed me $33, absurd. Also no sun pass, so I had to make 2 more payments of $4 and 11.20. Not happy...

it was my first time with ahaul and it was horrible. I did the reservation online, I had a mistake with my email and I couldn't fix it so I called to customer services but it takes to answer 30 min. When finally I talked with a representative and told me that everything was ok, it wasn't. First I did the reservation in one place and I received and email with another one. any way in non of them I could take the truck because in the first one no boy was ther, no key, nothing. Then I went to the second location (where was my reservation) and the same story, no keys, or any help. I saw somebody driving an uhaul truck and ask for help and they told me "talk with the guy in the gas station, he rent us the truck" but that person didn't want to help me (this was in CITGO gas station), he just sent me to a 3rd location (Downtown Miami). I wasted 1 hour to have a truck. But, the attention in Downtown was perfect.

Location wise it was convenient for my move. Customer service wise, front desk and truck greeters could be a bit more warm and friendly upon arrival. More acknowledgement, such as a saying "Good morning, welcome to UHaul how may I help? Being in Miami, this is key, otherwise; you will lost business. I typically do not give return business is service is lacking. It was not terrible, just more customer oriented.

Did 7 miles in the truck, I put in $5 of gas, and person working there said gas is too low and I got charged gasoline fee, doesn't make sense, car was given with bit over 1/4, should have been given full tank, not happy with my experience.

The clerks at check-in were courteous and fast, great guys. An African American gentleman that was bringing the trucks on the other hands needs training on how to take care of vehicles. He was driving at excessive speed, loud rap music, and was peeling out the tires. He needs to be supervised and counseled on importance of maintaining professionalism and taking care of company’s equipment.

On bad weather days like this one give courtesy time to return the equipment back.. I didn't get to finish due to bad weather and when I requested an extra he to finish I was denied..

Había solicitado un U-haul one way y básicamente fui forzado a retornar el equipo a mismo lugar lo que encareció en 50 dólares mi renta. No deberían cobrar el dolly. Si alquilas un camión se supone que es para mover cosas y debería estar incluido como parte del servicio. El agente debería informarte acerca de eso. A mi solo me dijeron que estaba incluido con el camión y fue mentira. Bueno literalmente si estaba incluido pero no que había que pagarlo extra. Intenté llamar al manager infinidad de veces y nunca respondió. Pésimo customer services

Staff need to follow process for customer service and update the CSM system so that customers don’t get penalties and calls from the company with inaccurate information. I rented a van for one day, and when I realized I could not return it as promised, I called the local location to ask for an extension. I was given an extension but within two hours I was called and a Manager left a voicemail that since I was late I needed to return the vehicle in the morning, and I would be charged one extra day plus a $50 penalty. After hearing the message, I called customer service, and was informed that since I had not contacted the office, which they claimed they have no record of me contacting the office, I would be charged a penalty. I responded that since the calls were recorded, they could verify that I did make a call and that was the information provided, again I was told there was no record in the system of my call. I understand, that I live in Miami, and many people do not speak English well, hence in accuracies in customer service. But I frankly think it unacceptable, that a major national company, would hire staff, who are not well trained or who cannot speak properly. Nevertheless, the manager later called me and told me there would be no penalty. I returned the vehicle a day late, and paid the additional day fee, with no penalty. But I should not have to deal with this manner of stress while making a move. Moving is one of the most stressful events in people’s lives, and if you make the experience more difficult, you add to the stress and compound the situation. If you treat this as an opportunity to create a positive experience, then you will win a lot of business as the economy goes through turmoil, and people begin to move and downsize. Also the intake manager was very unpleasant. But that’s another story. Frankly I will go to another location or use another company like Enterprise or Budget to rent a van next time.

This was by far the worst u haul experience I’ve had. When picking up the truck I had reserved a week prior- the process was not at all what I paid for (mobile pick up using my phone). I was told I still had to go in and check out the vehicle. Then, upon going inside the staff informed me that the truck was NOT ready, but they also did not have the Dolly’s I paid to rent. Aside from that, the whole ordeal took over half an hour which ate into the time I had reserved for the movers- costing me an additional hour in moving services. When I returned the truck I was told to stand outside (in POURING RAIN) and to wait for someone to check the Vehicle. After 25 mins someone came and told me I had to re-fold the furniture pads or pay another $30. After recording the pads, I stood there for another 10 mins in the rain waiting for someone to confirm we were good to go. The staff walked past us without saying a word- I had to ask them if we were good. I’ll be calling the corporate office to file a formal complaint Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. Do NOT rent with this location.
