I rented a trailer and I was told the rental was for 24hrs. I returned the trailer the same day after hours when they were already closed. They charged my card for two days. That lady that help me was very unpleasant for someone working at a counter she had an attitude like she was doing me a favor some 50 year old blonde. Please go somewhere else there are many rental places to be dealing with unpleasant people. Now I’m calling my bank to dispute the charges.

The first time I used this location a nice and attentive gentlemen helped me, which was at the end of March. I decided to use this location again, and my experience was nothing like before. I stood in line 8 months pregnant for 30 minutes. An employee started to help me, and said he would finish after he installed a trailer. In the meantime the other employee returned and helped the lady behind me instead of finishing mine. Then attempted to help another customer until I said something. I have always had the impression that with Uhaul you pay for the quality of service. This experience makes me not want to return to Uhaul. Extremely disappointed.

Dishonest employees. When I called the customer service line to reserve a U-haul, the employee immediately asked for my card number before I even made a reservation. I didn’t feel comfortable doing that until the reservation had been organized. He refused to help me until I gave him my card number. As soon as I gave him the card number, he transferred me to someone else to make the reservation. Once I made the reservation with the second representative, I received a confirmation for my desired 24 hour reservation. Then, an hour later I received a second three day reservation from an unknown location. We had to call and it was a large hassle to get the second undesired reservation off our account. I feel like the first employee who took my card was dishonestly charging us. We picked up our van and the condition was great, then dropped it off three hours before our deadline. Today I received an invoice for double the charges because they failed to check in my reservation in the day I returned it. I called Stax Storage and they put me on an indefinite hold. I called again and they refused to speak to me. Another phone call said they’d get back to us in three days. My husband called and took fifty minutes of his lunch break trying to get everything straightened out. We have never had this issue with Penske rentals and feel that we made a mistake in using Uhaul for this last move.

Was 50 miles out of my area. But Uhaul worked hard to find it for me since there is a shortage of one way trailers coming out of California. They allotted me one extra day at no extra charge since I had to drive so far to pick it up, which helped tremendously. Trailer was in great shape. It transported my motorcycles safely 400 miles. Thank you UHaul!

The wait time to receive my truck was over 1 hour. I had a scheduled pickup time of 9:00 AM, I arrived at 8:35 and did not leave with my truck until 9:50. The two employees working were working as quickly as possible, however two employees on a Saturday is not reasonable for the volume of reservations. I will not rent from this location again and will advise my friends and family of the poor experience. The significant wait time effected all of my family members who were waiting to assist me with moving while I waited longer for my truck.

Let me start by saying that this is the first time I've written a review. In the past, all U-Haul experiences were very pleasant - well trained staff, clean facilities and the trucks were in good working order. Everything was the same for this experience, except for one thing, the truck. The truck had a horrible leak in the roof that drenched many of our boxes, resulting in the loss of some irreplaceable items. We expected the truck to be weather proof, as they're meant to withstand traveling across the country, with varying weather conditions. Anyway, what's done is done, but we're hoping that next time, the truck we rent will have better weather proofing to prevent this from happening again, or even to the next customer. Take care, and thanks again for providing us with a way to move our family.

-I had to drive 1.5 hours to get this trailer because ALL of San Diego county was out of this trailer. I understand it was a short notice move, however there were plenty outside of the county- hello uber/left, get the product where it's needed. - after driving 1.5 hours the vendor could not process any credit cards. I had to add an hour to my already lomg day to go to my closest bank and get cash. There needs to be a process in place where I/your vendor can call a 1-800 number to process the transaction via phone or even internet n these situations.

Was given the wrong size truck. Was severely inconvenienced because the missing 2ft cost me an extra $200 because I couldn’t get my things out in time. Low level management didn’t seem to care as they stated, “well the 15 footer and 17 footer cost the same so....” Really?! That’s your answer. I’m out $200!!!!!!!!!!! Will never use this location or Uhaul again for that matter.
