The 15 ft uhaul trailer had white dog hair all over the front of the cab and the passenger seat had a terrible old dog urine smell inside the seat. We didn't have anyone inspect the truck beforehand. We tried to clean the cab to eliminate the foul odor but it was impossible. I got to my house and called customer service to complain but they didn't seem like there was anything they could do to help. I also purchased a tow dolly for my car. I didn't realize one tire was very bald. I feel like if I'm paying $600 for a truck to move states, the equipment should have been clean and had safe tires on it. I had to drive from California to arizona and it was a terrible drive in that heat with the smell. The drop off Uhaul place in Casa Grande, az was a pleasant experience and they were shocked at the condition of the truck and equipment we were rented and that the uhaul rep didn't do a walk through inspection to start off.

Location was closed when arrived at 4:30 pm. I was charged additional fees for gas and an additional day when i was not informed of the hours of the business and the contract was unclear as to a 24 hour rental. I took additional time to clean and put gas in the truck so that the next customer did not have the same experience as I had, and as a consequence, I was charged an additional $100. Terrible service and communication by uhaul as a company.

Was told to pay for equipment when I dropped it off. This was incorrect, had to pay when I picked up. When I went to drop equipment off, they had no record of it. Turns out the truck was never "dispatched". The drop off location had to call U-Haul headquarters and they had to dispatch and set up collection area.

Process to pick up and drop off is long. Truck was not clean and gas and mileage were inaccurate. Tons of scratches and broken pieces that weren't marked or previously reported.

I don't want to detract from either of the locations, but I do have a complaint about how the interaction went when trying to return the vehicle. Your national call center is a joke and has the worst customer service I have experienced in a while.

The facility was crowded making manuverability challenging, however the staff was courteous and prompt. there was a quick processing both checkout and checkin.

The location was clean and well organized. I would only suggest adding a trash can where you drop off. I had a fast food bag that I had to take with me on my motorcycle because I couldn't find anywhere to leave it.
