I selected a contract where I would not obtain rental via app. That is in person with a person helping me. However at the location they were unable to support and told me to call uhual. This caused about a half hour delay and I ended having to use the app anyways.

Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-Haula small gas station where one is required to walk around the truck, potentially stepping into traffic in order to get the correct photo for the tyrannical app in order to return the vehicle. The lack of any help from the uhaul staff may be a boon for uhaul's bottom line but it guaranteed i will not rent from uhaul again. I have other options.
David BI was offered a counter pickup at this location. There is no counter pickup at this location. The employees were not trained by uhaul and therefore had no idea how to help me aside from pointing me to the mobile check in area. At which point I needed to put in contacts and other things to “verify my identity” (which can be easily done at counter check in by looking at me and looking at my government issued ID). If there was no counter pickup I would have chosen a different location. It’s very frustrating to a) not be given correct information and b) have to then basically do all the work. If anything, there should be a discount for mobile pickup. I have no complaints about the location or the employees, but if uhaul is offering counter pickup, they are obligated to train employees on how to manage counter pickup.
Steven RI took the vehicle at half tank of gas and I filled gas not using the full amount return the vehicle with a full tank of gas I spoke to someone that stated you all don’t reimburse that should be clearly be verbalized when renting So I guess I will have to eat the cost of that gas I don’t think it’s fair
Reginald TA person at the gas station told me that after checkin i will get a code on app, but there was no code and no info on how to get keys. When I called customer care, they said I would send someone to give you keys. I kind of wasted 30 minutes in this back-and-forth. Finally, the gas station guy was able to find the keys for me, but my expectation was to get clear instructions on how to get the keys, which i didnt get.
