They switched my pick up location 4 times because they didn’t have the equipment OR the time that I had confirmed && didn’t want to compensate me for that even though they had it on their website. This was not the location we booked our truck. We were sent here to pick up our truck after the location we booked did not have what we reserved or anything close to it. This cost us over an hour on moving day. The locations are not close. I had to talk my husband into using u haul, and this will be our last time.

Seat belt in my truck rental did not operate properly at all. There was a massive advertising board in the window when I got in the truck. I've been to other u-haul rental establishments and they normally pull the truck around for you. This is my 5th time using u-hauls services. They also normally walk with you and show you the truck and send you on your way. Not here. Also this location seemed more interested in making small talk with co-workers than handling the customer right in front of them. I'm not there to listen to jokes and dumb comments to make yourself seem funny. While in the process of making yourself seem funny you neglected to ask how many miles I would be driving and if I wanted coverage or not. I had to ask if it had the mileage range on the reservation, as I had set up the reservation at another location because they did not have an available truck at the previous location I visited, he, which I think his name is Ben, told me oh yeah that's probably a good idea. At the previous location I had told them I did not want coverage on the reservation as I was only going a short distance. Well at this location once I paid for the rental I noticed that there was coverage added to my contract. This guy was making small talk with Karen or whoever she was and they thought they were so funny together that they forgot to ask for my consent to add a fee for coverage to my rental. Well now it's been almost 15 minutes waiting with a reservation and now they won't let me leave because now they need me to stay to take off the coverage. 5-7 minutes later they tell me with added support from the manager( I'm assuming) that I won't be able to get a refund. They tell me I must call them back first thing in the morning. Ben blames the system and brings my utility dolly around to where I'm standing. They give me keys and that's that. Finally after 25 minutes I have my rental. Ben needs to stop talking to Karen and Ben needs to pay attention to what he is doing. Customer service did not seem to be any priority to Ben or Karen. Shout out to the South Cobb Drive location where I originally went. Great service and excellent help to set up my reservation. One of the guys there literally got on my phone to help me find this sorry location. Wasn't there fault. I'm sure they knew that location isn't up to snuff. As he said he was as there earlier in the day. Following day I called at 9am. Told them to make sure they refunded my coverage fee. Placed on hold for awhile. Had to explain once again what happened even though they told me they added a note to refund me. Later that afternoon I got an email with an updated charge amount. So at least that's done.

Maybe go to the truck with the customer, if possible, or ask if they'd like someone to go with them. But I loved how friendly everyone was. Both the guy there when I picked up and the different guy when I dropped off.

The return process could not have been easier. This facility has a return lane and they had the truck return/check in completed within a couple of minutes at most.
