1. This was NOT The Location I requested when I made my reservation. 2. I was NOT Adequately notified that uHaul had Change Locations on me, forcing me to be Late and also drive 30 minutes out of my way. 3. This location was 20 miles away from my moving need. 4. The manager told me to return the trailer to a side parking spot. However, the side parking spot was Not Level. Therefore, I could not unhitch the trailer from my car. uHaul Help was Worthless. I called and waited 2 hours....NO Help was ever dispatched. Therefore, I had to re-connect the trail and drive home; then get up first thing in the morning to bring the trailer back the next day. The Attendant, had me park in a level area, an was easily able to unhitch the trailer in that location. This was the Worst Experience I have ever had with uHaul !!!!

You need to put a kickstand on the enclosed trailers so they can be unhitched and temporarily placed somewhere. The way they are now, if it is loaded, you can’t take it off your hitch without lifting it off by hand. That is rediculous.

There was a mixup in which facility I was to pick up the vehicle in Havelock,NC. I was directed by U-haul coordinators to a facility other than the one I originally contracted with. This created a misunderstanding with both facilities. U-haul operations had to be called to fix things. Suggest that no correction be made in accommodations in the future unless a vehicle isn’t available.

Staff was very un inviting and treated me like I was a criminal with blanketed statements of what had happened with other customers in the past. Very as a matter of fact almost robotic. I even told one staff member to lighten up. I hope it was just an off day for them because that was literally the worst experience I’ve ever had with Uhaul and I use Uhaul on a regular basis as a relocation expert for mayflyand United Vanlines. But I would certainly never go back to that location to put it nicely they weren’t a good example of how to be polite and professional

I was overcharged. Did not request the SafeMove insurance. When I asked about charges when getting the truck, I was told it was only rental, miles and taxes and fees. Please refund what I did not request.

The van that I was assigned to was blocked in, so I had to wait for someone to come. When someone did come, he was slow and acted as if I was a burden.

I set up my rental online and it was suppose to be ready for pick up. When I arrived my particular Uhaul track was blocked in. If I need my rental outside of normal business hours I would not have been able to get it. Also, the uhaul truck I drove the drive side door did not close well.

Post signage in the parking lot that reflects the 15 min parking policy, so patrons aren't surprised when pressured to park off site during rentals... Also truck cab wasn't clean, reeked of smoke and had a spilled drink all over the cup holders.



As long as the person who serviced me is the same person servicing the next customer, the customer will be all right.

Over charge my card



I have retuned from U-Haul several times, and will not rent from this location ever again. Customer service is poor and I was charged a $25 cleaning fee because there were leaves and foot prints in the back of the U-Haul.

Truck had no acceleration. Made a high pitch squealing noise while accelerating. I did mention this to the sales associate when I returned truck, he said he would do a test drive later.. Truck was clean, cab and cargo areas.

I picked up my Uhaul and when I got to my storage unit I opened the back to find soaking wet furniture pads, leaves, and a few empty drink containers. It seems as though someone may have been sleeping in this unit because it also smelled like urine

When I arrived, I was told my reserved drop off location was "full," and had to be relocated to another one further away. I specifically asked not to be moved to a certain option which would mean sitting in heavy rush hour traffic in order to return my truck on time, and requested an option that was closer. The attendant seemed to just put in the name of the city I requested on the contract but otherwise scheduled my drop off for the city I did not want. So when I called into the main line for the drop off address (which wasn't listed on my contract), I was told the bad news and had to sit in the hour of traffic. Having to relocate my drop-off without compensation was already bad enough, but this made it even worse.
