Only one person working the desk while three customers were waiting. She did not interact with anyone who was waiting and we got to figure out what was going on by ourselves. Turns out the other employee had gone for food, which is understandable but it was Easily marked that two people had reservations at the same time and so that was not well Planned. At no fault of the employees, the computer system was also very slow and caused More delays.

I first set my reservation for a Saturday, but on Friday night the person who was supposed to help me said he couldn't. I called uhaul, and they let me switch my reservation to Monday. I then needed a few additional hours with the trailer, which they let me do for no charge. Highly recommend.

The equipment was in good working order but was rather evident that previous client had a dog in the vehicle..... dog hair on the seat and floor as well as passenger side window and windshield glass were smeared with nose prints, etc. ... Didn't feel was our responsibility to clean them.

We had rented a 15 foot unit but when we went to pick it up there were none available. Fortunetly there was a 20 foot unit available at the price of the 15 ft. unit. It would have been nice to have been contacted prior to picking up that the 15ft unit was not available. The employee on duty handled everything very well for us.

The overall experience was good, the truck was easy to drive and was the proper size. However , it did not come with a lock for the back. If I wanted to protect the belongings while I had the truck for three days I had to purchase a lock, which I did for $10.00. This should have been included in the quoted price. The thing that still bothers me the most was the intimidation and scare tactic used, regarding the protective insurance for the truck. First I said no to the extra $60.00. But then having to pay up to $45,000.00, immediately if there was an occurrence was haunting. I would then have to be reimbursed by my insurance company. Perhaps insurance should be automatically included in a price quote.

The truck was dirty both in the cab and cargo area. Did appreciate the attached padlock since it sat overnight. One bag of furniture pads had only 5 in it.

I handed the key over and told the attendant that the truck was 3/4 full of gas because that is how I got it and he said Ok thanks for letting me know.

Hire more staff at this location and support them better. The staff member who assisted me was very nice and friendly and did a great job but he was swamped and had to deal with some crappy equipment that wasn't his fault.

I made my reservation online, only to have it changed -- multiple times to locations and times that would not work for my move. I finally found a service rep who was responsive and arranged a truck that worked. She gave me a discounted rate of $50 to compensate for my poor service (over the phone at 1-800-go-uhaul. When I picked up my truck, I went with a smaller truck than the one she reserved for me at $50, and was charged $72, plus insurance and tax. Very upsetting.

My reservation kept being changed from one size truck to another and the location and pick-up time kept being moved as well. I think in total I received 11 emails from u-haul. This hasn't happened to me with u-haul in the past, but it made this experience more confusing and stressful.
