This uhaul location provided me with the absolute worst customer service I have had in my life. Stacey was such a bit**. She walked in with a miserable look on her face and did not acknowledge a single customer waiting. Walked over to her messy desk and while looking at the screen says wait a minute. So I waited, about 5 minutes, and she called me over with an “ok”. I asked Stacey for a van for a few hours. She said they have one and started typing my info in while taking apart and putting back together her cell phone. About a minute later her phone starts ringing. She answers her phone and I did not even get an excuse me I need to take this, nothing. She continues to have a conversation with someone about her fuc**ing coffee while I stood there and waited!!!! Their so called “general manager” wasn’t any better! He didn’t even make a comment to her about putting the customer first. He was angry and flustered And running around like a headless chicken over a missing part. Get your sh** together. After using the van for a few hours I came back around 8:30 to return it. I was instructed when I got it to use the after hours return website to finish the rental. Well, I got there and started following the instructions and the site kept giving me an error. So I know in the door because I saw they were still there. I got ignored. Then I see them talking shi* about me knocking on the door. After some persistence the manager came over and says “what? I’ve been here since 6am”. Which I agree that sucks. I just needed to return the van not to get charged for another day. Overall, I’d rather drive out of my way to get better customer service than deal with them. And I want my money back.

Will never use again. Charged for dolly we never ordered or used. Charged for cleaning when Truck was clean. Vehicle was canceled for requested day, waited 30 minutes to pick up vehicle and 45 min at drop off.

The entire experience would have been great if it weren't for 2 things. First was during the pickup. The general manager checking me in dialed my phone number as i was giving it to him as if I was lying or something. Didnt even tell me he was going to dial it. Just rubbed me the completely wrong way. Then he asks for a secondary person who can be reached in case I cant be. First of all, I basically am on my own out here in Boston other than my girlfriend who ive only been dating for a short time. This guy insists he needs another number so I give him my 72 yr old grandmother who lives 4 hours away's number. He starts to dial that number! I said hold up man its 730 in the morning youre not calling and waking my grandmother up. He says something to the effect of he needs somebody's number to call for me to rent the truck. So I have to call my girlfriend and put her in this awkward situation which in turn made me feel very uncomfortable. The thing that irritates me the most about this is that if they made it clear online when I reserved the truck that id have to provide these numbers and that they would also have to verify them by calling them it wouldnt be a big deal, but when you spring that on a customer when theres 3 people behind them waiting in line and when they arent prepared for it it really caused my experience to be ruined. Second thing that made my experience less than great was bringing the truck back 2-3 hours late and getting charged as if I had it for another 24 hours.

I was charged for a second day even though I told staff I would be returning the truck after business hours. I couldn't complete the truck return procedure on your phone app because I had a problem accessing my email. Your records should show a verification email sent to me at 7:20 pm 3/25/18. Sent an email inquiring about this, received no reply. My bill states return time as 3/26/18 8:42 AM. This is an outright lie and fraud. The last time I rented a truck from you I had to jump start it all day long because of a faulty battery, Will not be using your company again and will be advising anyone and everyone to find another company besides U Haul when they require a rental truck.

The customer representative was not pleasant. I came in the store and she didn’t acknowledge me. I stand in front of her for a good three minutes before she said hello. She isn’t pleasant at all.

Use common sense in considering all circumstances, before implementing added rental charges, especially to repeat U-Haul customers. I returned my truck in a timely manner, and was charged an extra day's rental because I did not fill out an online return form. I did not do this because my cell phone battery had died, and I spoke with a rep. 2.5hrs. before 24 hr loan expired.
