Not be abusive calling me about returning the trailer. Not knowing I had a extra day. Then they overcharged me and I spent over 2 hours on the phone with U-Haul 800 number to get a refund. Then I got 6 of the same e-mails from the returning location with my bill within 2 hours. I started out with a great experience until the return. I told them I had surgery for a broken back and they were reluctant to unhook the trailer. U-Haul does not provide tongue jacks.on it's trailers or a option to rent them.

The truck I was given was not in good condition and was very dirty. 130,000+ miles. Piece of junk. This business was under new ownership and it shows, as inventory on some boxes, such as glass boxes were not available.

This truck was the worst vehicle that I have ever driven. It needs a major overhaul. Start by inspecting the tires, then balancing all of them. Next look into the alignment and also see if there isn’t an overall suspension issue. Thankfully I had a very short local move, because this truck would not survive a longer move, without damaging contents and fatiguing the driver and any unlucky passengers. I also did not appreciate a phone hours before I was to rent this truck asking me to return it a couple of hours early. I told them I would try to return it earlier, but I was paying for 24 hours of use and might need it the full 24 hours. I ended up returning it 30 minutes early and the next customer was waiting for it. After this experience, I not sure I’d turn to U-Haul again.

These guys rock. Paul was the first to greet me and immediately assisted me very kindly and politely. He explained to me that the system was down so did a manual contract instead which was fine. I was in and out of there with a 10x10 truck in no time. Upon return Morgan who was also very polite and kind assisted me with the return and shred the info I gave him for the manual contract; Upon request (which he had mentioned was going to do anyway) was nice enough to do it while I was there. Then turns out my wife accidentally had left her phone in the 10x10 truck so I called them up John answered the phone and managed to find it for us and helped identify it. These guys are great I hope they keep up the great work, they're outstanding!

I prearranged, via online contract, to rent a 9' van on 8:30 am Monday. Received a call on Sunday that I could not pick it up until opening at 9 am. Called at 9:00 to make sure it was returned b/c I was in a big hurry (being later than planned). Was told it was on property and ready. Arrived at 9:05 to learn that the servers for Uhaul were down, and that I could not rent the vehicle. I had arranged for moving assistance in two different locations at 9:15 and at 10:00, by people/friends who had to get to work. The folks at Uhaul, despite my entering all of my information on Saturday still would not let me rent the van. Finally, at 9:45, they agreed to write a manual contract. When I returned the van at 4:15, I had used less than 5 gallons of gas; due to my morning delay and an appointment I had at 4:00, I was in too big of a hurry to stop and fill up with gas. I expected the managers would compensate my morning inconvenience by providing me with free gas, but he did NOT and he charged me an additional $20 for the gas. I am quite dismayed by that. The :45 delay was not necessary and truly set me back. I won't be using U-Haul next time I need to move my classroom items back to my house (I am a 1st grade teacher) unless you rectify this. I understood you had a server problem and also the phone lines were busy, but I would've thought you could at least allow for some kind of compensation for the GREAT inconvenience this caused me, your customer. I had prearranged so many aspects of that morning, which were derailed by the inability of the manager to write a manual contract until almost an hour after I had expected to be driving away.
