My unit had a roof leek and an infestation and I was charged $150 for 9 days in the unit. Apparently there is no manager so no one could fix anything. Worst storage experience EVER!

They said if I didn't have the van back by 4p to give them a call and let them know. At 3p I called, saying I'd have it back by 5p. They guy who answered the call was not professional at all. He clicked away at the keyboard - evidently couldn't find my record, said he was going to have to transfer me to another department. I said No - just to take my name, phone number and let someone know as the wind was blowing and I had to hang up as I did not feel safe driving and talking. He told me not to yell at him, to stay on the phone. They there was a cellular moment and the call failed. I did not call back.

Upon arrival to U-Haul Storage of Loveland at 7:10 AM (with posted office hours beginning at 7 AM), it took 50 minutes to process my U-Haul order (a cargo van rental). The processing time should have been 5 minutes or less (max 10 minutes), in my opinion. The 50 minute processing time occurred despite these facts: - I had made a reservation online for the 7 AM rental the day prior - I was the only customer that morning. - I signed up online to use the "Self-Service" rental, but the van was not ready to pick up when I arrived. Thus, I was required to speak with the representative (owner?) of U-Haul Storage of Loveland to process my order. Upon arriving, the office was locked with a note stating that I should make contact via the CB radio. However, there was no radio present. To make contact and ultimately get the processing started, I was able to use the intercom system for the U-Haul storage units that exist in back of the office. To improve, I recommend ensuring that orders and reservations that come in online the day prior (or days prior) are ready for the customer at the time set up in the reservation. Additionally, I recommend that the office be staffed during posted business hours; or, at least, staff the office during known reservation times that are within the normal business hours.

This was the 3rd location that I had to go to in order to drop off the truck and get my storage coupon honored. The "traffic " assistance was terrible. Had a rough overall experience with u haul.

Parking area could be improved on but otherwise everything went very smoothly and fast. The truck was exceptionally clean and it drove great. Would not hesitate to use again!!! Great Place and customer service!!!

The female employee was not trained properly and used profane language. It was a terrible experience. I was in the office for a long time. Another manager from a different location just happened to stop by and assisted her or the experience would be worse. His name was George Esquivel. He was very professional and should be commended.

Ruth, whom I spoke with at the North Greeley U-Haul location, was the one most instrumental in helping get me all set up with a cargo van. She was very pleasant and took the time to make sure it was all put in place for me. Joey, at the Lincoln Ave location was great as well.

When we arrived to pick up our truck the man who was helping us, although very nice and apologetic, had no idea what he was doing and our pick up took over an hour. I do not fault him, because he really did try, and he tried calling several people for help but no one would answer. It is unfair to your employees and your customers to leave someone who does not know how to rent a truck alone on a day when there are reservations. He was finally able to get someone to answer the phone and got through the process, but left off the alternate driver (reservation was in my name but I was not able to drive that day so my husband was going to be driving) off the contract despite having his driver's license, and us telling him numerous times that he would be the one driving the van. When all was said and done and I asked about it, he said: "it will be fine, just don't get in a wreck". You know, we never intent to get in a wreck, but I pay extra for the insurance just in case....and if the person driving the rental is not listed on the contract the insurance will not cover anything I am assuming. Luckily we had no issues, but I was definitely not happy about the way he handled this. By the end of the experience, he was very frustrated and so were we. I will not be renting from this location again...if I ever decide to rent from UHaul again.

The $10.00 charge for insurance is unjust, .80 cents per mile over the weekend "&" we put gas in?!? It wasnt even full when I first aquired the vehicle, I was forced to put in extra gas so again unjust. The 20.00 per day is fair though.
