Great people. There are Always some trucks available and they offer to call when a vehicle is available to pick up for unscheduled needs like I frequently do. I donâ€™t need to buy a truck. I just rent a uhaul when I need to move large things.

My reservation was changed many times (by U-Haul, and by me on the last change). My quoted price, on the morning of the last change, was not transferred to this site. They eventually made it right. Not sure why it had to be such a hassle. SAM at the Modesto site on Kansas was excellent!!!! I would like her recognized. She went above and beyond, to get my pick up location changed so I could get the smaller truck. I truly appreciated her efforts.

Plenty of equipment here. He seemed a bit put out to receive our One-Way rental as he said â€œI donâ€™t have roomâ€ for it. Time me to â€œput it over there somewhereâ€. Fast check out. No receipt given. None offered even after I asked for one. He said I didnâ€™t need anything as there were no additional charges. I just wanted something showing not only that I returned your equipment in great condition but that I actually did return it. I left with nothing other than him saying â€œyouâ€™re good.â€

Would like to see truck rentals be fully gased upon leaving store/yard. Then, customers know exactly how much gas to fill before returning (fill to shut-off level)....like it was done decades ago.

I was getting charge for the sticker on the side of the truck. Employee was saying that it was a scratch and he had to charge me. When the sticker on the side itâ€™s a two part sticker and it has a line in the middle

I used the smart device check-in. This was cumbersome and made me enter information I previously entered when I made the reservation. It was early morning and so I was standing out in the cold trying to figure it out. It would have been easier to have just gone to the desk, which is what I ended up doing. This feature needs work. Luckily, the woman who helped me was very patient and did a great job. I also reserved a 17' truck, but when I got there, only a 15' truck was available. I did not receive prior notice that this switch had been made.

This was my 2nd rental for the week. We use the transport to swap cars between our dealerships. The last rental was an awful experience. After driving 6 hours to clearmont from lodi. To find out the transporter is 7 footer not the 7.5 so no one was able to swap the transporter and we ended up hiring a second driver to drive back to new truck and the Original driver to drive back the empty transporter.

I would have rated this site as above average if it were not for the employee who attended to me on Friday morning. She contradicted the information I was given on the prior day, Thursday, by another employee. She was also rushing me for information, and quick to get me out the door. Client focus would be a good training lesson for her.

Under staffed 2 employees onsite, one claimed his only job was to install hitches the other was left to assist walk ins with reservations, propane, drop offs and the phones.

upon returning to this location Ramon started out by yelling at me for not filling the tank to 7/8" He then started in acusing me of frauding U-hall. He than started to attack my Christianity not even knowing if I was a Christian or not. The fact was that they gave me the incorrect paperwork on the fuel. If there was a problem he should started out by explaining to me that the had made an error on my paperwork. Maybe they could have called me to explain that when the found the problem. In any chase I don't work on U-Hall computers and I am incapable of making such an error. I did not mind toping of the tank although the attendant explained to me that all I needed to do is bring it back with 1/4 tank and I would be OK and she gave me a receipt with orange marking on it at 1/4 of a tank. Please give me a call on this, I would like to talk to someone that cares. He did tell me to call 1-800-UHALL as he continued to badger me and I could not even hear the prompts to get in touch with customer service.
