I reserved the equipment nearly a week out and checked in online the day before. When I arrived, the equipment was not available. I had to drive across town to another location to get the equipment I had rented.

I filled out the contract ahead of time in my location for delivery was change on me when I picked up the truck. I didn’t know would be such a big deal but when I got to the place I originally wanted to drop it off they couldn’t take it which was a mile from my house I had to drive 12 miles to another location so was little bit upset that the contract was changed and I know I signed it but I didn’t think it was that big of a deal.

Honestly, this place was great except for their blatant, pro-christian message. Crappy Christian radio playing, employees wearing giant Jesus fish shirts, and the name (HIS) stands for He Is Savior (I asked). There's no better way to alienate those who don't believe in this particular god than to shove it in their faces. I feel bad for any Muslims or Hindu who unknowingly pick up a uhaul from this location.

I originally contacted HIS Auto Care over a month before we wanted to reserve the 26' truck. We reserved the truck to be picked up at 8 AM (8 AM is when HIS Auto Care opened). About a week before pick up, I received a text message confirmation stating that my reservation was scheduled for pick up at 8 AM at the U-Haul location at 740 N 48th Street in Lincoln, NE. Even though this location was all the way across town for us, we arrived about 8:05 AM only to find that this location did not open until 9 AM. Employees began arriving and opened the garage doors about 8:30 AM. We approached the employees and, before we could even say anything, two employees said "We don't open until 9". I approached an employee and advised that I had a confirmation saying my pick up was at 8 AM at that location and he was extremely rude. He said something to the effect of well, we don't open until 9. I repeated that my confirmation said 8 AM and he said something to the effect of I don't know why it would say that. We don't open until 9. I can't help you. Not ONCE did he apologize or ask to look at the reservation. He was not helpful at all and very rude. When we realized we were not getting anywhere with him, we went back to the vehicle and called HIS Auto Care where we made the original reservation. I asked if they had any other trucks available and he said he had a 20' truck. I advised we would be right there and would just take that truck. HIS Auto Care was EXTREMELY helpful and the location at 740 N 48th Street in Lincoln, NE was absolutely terrible. If I ever get a U-Haul again, I will NOT go to the location at 740 N 48th Street in Lincoln, NE. There is no reason for employees to treat customers that way.

The trailer had a very serious mechanical problem where the axle was not attached to the leaf spring. We were lucky to have noticed it prior to loading the car on it. This could have been really bad if the other end of the axle also came loose.

After I checked in online and entered all of my information, the checkout process was slow to pick up the trailer. Drop off location was changed somehow from what I picked online to what the checkout location gave me.
