CLean the truck. I washed part of.the truck by hand before returning it.as.i did.not want to.be charged as.being the person who filthed up.the truck. Check the engine operation. It is likely with the rough idle.that this truck had 1 cylinder that was not firing. I drove gently on all.highway miles.and got less.than 8 mph, also disappointing.

I reserved online , Confirmed the night before. As I was in line to pick up the truck the day of, I get a call from uhaul reservations to say there was not a truck for me. They sent me to another location further away from my move that did have a truck, which cost me more in time and extra mileage once I got the truck. I was not offered any consideration for my inconvenience. Other than that all else was good. Mobile check out and in went smooth. Uhaul should not overbook and if it does happen they should offer a discount or coupon especially when it happens with zero advanced notice and it is at more cost to the customer. Good rental. Bad customer service.

This is the second rental where we have had problems with this location. In my opinion, they are not exercising quality control or customer service. This rental they gave us the "wrong" truck which we discovered when we returned it. When they discovered the "right" truck was still there, they never called us to find out what happened, they simply issued a refund but charged us for 1 mile use. How could we have driven it one mile if we never had it? Then when we returned the truck they gave us, they argued over whose fault it was. OK so here is your customer service lesson, don't argue in front of the customer, just say sorry for the error we will get it fixed so you can be on your way. We have to use this location cause it is closest to us but will make sure next time to check and double check them as they don't have the processes in place to do it themselves.

Folks here were nice and made check in easy. That being said, given the headaches and delays the phone app caused I will probably go with Penske next time.
