I selected a perticuliar moving van to do the job, upom my arrival at thiat location I was told they dont have the equipment on ground, some other excuses which caused me delays and extra hours and extra money to return the eauipment. That was Uncall for, why Uhaul website advertising something not available and baitipeople. Once i got here i had no choice

The parking lot is small. I understand it is likely difficult to increase the size, but maybe have employees park elsewhere or remove old vehicles not in use. The UHaul we rented was very low on gas and made a lot of noise and rattling, which didn’t seem like it was running well.

Make sure that the back cabin door on the pick up trucks actually do opened and close , the pickup truck I rented did not function correctly so it took more time for me to move the sofas I had to move , if I would of been close to the store were I pick up the truck I would of return it so they could give something that is actually working, but other then that everything else was okay .

Great service and friendly staff. After returning the van we found out that the mileage counter on the receipt was incorrect. The staff member quickly corrected it and got us on our way. Much thanks!

I had to travel further than I requested which added miles to the vehicle. The cab of the vehicle had trash and DOG HAIR all over the seat.

There was a slight mishap in the beginning with the truck returned with no fuel. It was not the fault of the U-haul company but the prior renter. The company was very fast in correcting the issue. There were some other slight issues, but they were dealt with quickly and honestly. I would definitely recommend this place again.. 5 Stars!

After I made all arrangements online, I was asked the same questions again at the location. There was no point in the online service if the checkout is a repeat. Also, when I returned the truck, the rep was so unfriendly and his final remark of "you may go" was just uncalled for. The reps seem to be stressed and very unfriendly.

There is need to be transparent with the charges. I waited for about 30 minutes after dropping off the car before the associate cane back and told me I’m okay to go. I asked about my bill because I used only 11mikes instead if 25 miles requested. He told that I will be charged for the miles that I used. I later discover in my mail that I was charged $11 for gas and some other fees that came brought my total to how much I was charged when I took the van with the estimate of 25miles. Why won’t he say anything about the gas when I was there so that we can look at it together. Now I was charged $11 for 11 miles used despite putting some gas in the van. It looks suspicious. My biggest complaint is the fact that we requested Silver Spring at 1 pm as our pickup location (15 minutes from our moving location) and were forced to change pickup to Laurel at 3 pm (48 minutes from our moving location). This forced us to go over the 30 miles ascribed to us and therefore pay more money. My Silver Spring request was confirmed on Saturday afternoon by text AND by phone. Nevertheless, it was cancelled without my knowledge. This was completely ridiculous and frustrating on top of the already stressful process of moving.

The Washington Blvd location employees were great. However when I got there I could not rent directly from them. I had to call the national office to set up a reservation. This is where it went sideways. I only needed a truck or cargo van to pick up a bed locally. The lady on the phone kept trying to sell me something bigger and more expensive. I had to interrupt her twice to tell her I didn’t need that. Then I gave her my location twice and kept telling me I was in Kansas. No Dorothy, I’m in Maryland. The equipment was excellent and the face to face staff were awesome.
