The bed of the truck was clean, who ever the cab area was very dirty ( food crumbs, dirt, windows were dirty). Granted the truck had lots of miles on it but it looked like it had not been cleaned inside in months. I have rented 3 uhauls I the last year and this was by far the dirtiest and worn equipment.

I want to express my dissatisfaction with not only this particular Uhaul but Uhaul in general. First the employee at this Uhaul that was renting the truck to me was very unpleasant. He accused me of not knowing my own billing address or my apartment location. he spoke down to me and treated me like an idiot. This is unacceptable behavior. This alone is grounds for a refund or at least reimbursement for being subjected to hostile environment. The sub par experience continued when they charged me for miles that they put on the truck. I had requested to pick up from a location in Gaithersburg Maryland and they changed the pickup location to 30 miles away. Since it was not a move I requested and instead a move that uhaul made I am entitled to be reimbursed for the extra miles. This doesn't even begin to cover how terrible this moving experience was. The movers that Uhaul suggested help with the move where also disastrous. I should have known that it would go poorly when the movers did not return my phone call ahead of the move to confirm details from the pre-move questionnaire about driving the truck. I decided to let it slide but I now realize that it should have been a red flag. I found out, at the move, that even though they ask if you want them to drive the truck they won't do it anyway. Why ask the questions if the answers are just going to be ignored, but that even that is not the point. On the day of the move they started late. Aaron and Tyrone were late for my 10:30 appointment. To give them some credit they did call to tell me they were running late and I decided to let that slide as well since they were only about 10 minutes late. That was the last time they showed any sort of professionalism and they were unpleasant for the rest of the day. They snacked, sat around, took a number of phone calls and took lots of breaks instead of loading the truck. It felt like they were intentionally dragging out the loading time. This was an average-sized, one-bedroom apartment that I had already packed and staged near the front door of the apartment. All that needed to be done was move my boxes and furniture out and load them onto the truck. The Uhaul website suggested that this should take about 2 hours. I thought that if they were moving slowly they would maybe get it done in 3 hours. This was not the case. Aaron and Tyrone dragged it out for 5 hours. 5 hours. As I was the one who moved all this same furniture and boxes into the apartment 12 months ago, with just my 70 year old father to help, I pretty much know how long it should have taken to move everything from that apartment and load up the truck. Not only did they drag it out and make it slow, they scattered all my belongings between my apartment door and the elevator on my floor and the elevator on the ground floor out to the truck. They left several very expensive things unattended for long periods of time and they were very inconsiderate and careless with what they were doing. They left

The trailer I was given was fine, but looked like it was from the 1980s. Customer service was alright, however the representative helping me wasn't knowledgeable and was hitching the trailer up incorrect.

The truck I rented was in very bad condition the front head light was busted out the rear driver side tire was wobbly and the truck vibrator when I was driving and I was over charged on the mileage so I will not return nor recommend anyone to this location or use Uhaul again!!!!!!!!!!!

Normally I will give this location a good review however this time it was a little different. let's begin with the lights on the dashboard that came on which made me nervous the whole time I was driving. Secondly I had to extend the reservation for an additional week which was fine. The gentleman assistant me very well with the extension. Due to some unforeseen circumstances we needed the truck possibly for 3 more days. I called up spoke to Faith she was very friendly excellent customer service and then I had to call her back for verification. I called back and get a total different person who transfers me over to scheduling which was perfectly fine the guy in scheduling was extra friendly it was about to extend the reservation but I wanted to update the payment info so he advised me to reach back out to the property which was perfectly fine. When I call the property again everything went downhill the gentleman that I spoke to was extra rude and stated that he needed the truck back today no exceptions and was just not professional. My boss calls back and he receives the same thing nasty attitude. I was very appalled because I have never received any customer service like this. I have never felt so disrespected and embarrassed especially after I just spent 700 plus dollars with your company. And not the 1st time and To tell someone we need the truck back because someone else needs it and with an attitude it's a problem for me it's different ways you can communicate to a customer. Also to call my personal phone three times and when I call back you guys don't know why you called me. I hope you guys understand where I'm coming from. customer service is everything in business and a deal-breaker for me.

I’ve been here a couple of times and both times the sevice wasn’t very friendly and this past experience I ordered a dolly but wasn’t given one. When I said something about it I was told the only thing I could do was ask for a refund but that may not happen though. I was then told to go inside to try and get a refund but the lines always move so very slow and there were people in line and I didn’t have time to wait.
