Never told the cashier what time I was coming back to drop truck off and he charged me for an extra day. When I got the truck I said I needed it for the day, I returned at 1030ishast night. I had to pay more money

This was not my initial pick up loc. It was 9800 M.L. K. in bowie, Md. I was there on time (7:15 for a 7:30 pick up), they had my truck & no keys I'd done the early check in the night before so I could get in and out. Told me to go to the Landover station after I waited around about 15 min. I asked if they were going to call. J.W. said there was no need. I get there, she doesn't have a truck for me nor had the other office had my reservation transferred. I was there in Landover for 30 minutes or more, HOWEVER, the entire time, the young lady was working hard to find me something and not affect other customers reservations. I appreciated her and ALL her efforts but the Bowie Loc would NOT have gotten this same rating. Even though I was thrown way behind my schedule, her customer service and attitude made the difference. The reason for the average rating for location is because it is in an industrial area with huge trucks of all types coming in and out on a one way entrance. A little rough BUT the store itself was GREAT!

The young lady working the morning of my pick up,was outstanding and very professional, which is unusual for that area. If there were a block to rate just her and how she muliti tasked events in that office she would have received a 5 star.

Reservation was screwed up. I ordered a truck not a van. I did not check the email. Had to accept the van, due to unavailability of truck. Service at the facility great, reservation poor.

My husband and I were satisfied with the service, adequate staff, and professionalism provided at the Landover location. However, the Lanham location does not provide acceptable customer service standards. My husband and I waited 20 minutes to be assisted by the one (1) representative who was available on yesterday afternoon (the final Sunday of the month, which is ideal for individuals m ovibg from one residence to the next). After waiting for a lengthy period of time, we were told that since we were late, our entire reservation was null and void. We had informed the service representative that we were running a bit behind, due to the unexpected delay in signing our lease, prior to arriving to the Uhaul rental location. We had informed the representative that no one had called us to let us know that our reservation was at risk of being forfeited; the representative stated that it was company policy that the customer contact the company, in the even that the customer is running late - that it was not company policy to contact the customer regarding the chance in status of the reservation. I would like to speak with someone to inquire about this policy and to confirm whether or not I had been accurately infirm by your customer service representative.

I would suggest double checking the self checkout orders because I used the after hours self checkout and ended up with a different van than I had been assigned. The vans were the same in general but I spent about 10 minutes trying to figure out why the key wasn't working. It was only when I went to validate the truck info that I realized the key for the van was different from my the van on my order. The right van for the key was right beside my assigned van. I verified the info twice but since I didn't have a rep onsite and had to finish the move that day I simply took the van that matched the key.

Very accommodating but i had to go to the back to find the truck myself. Had to look through a lot of trucks to find that out. Prior to that i wen to the desk to ask for assistance but was never rendered. The tyre pressure indication was showing on the dashboard but i was told it was fine to drive it like that. i didnt feel comfortable but i had no choice.

I would indeed recommend this location to others who need to have storage services and then coupled with Uhaul trucks and trailers to rent. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. My only negative comment is based on my experience with one of the trailer wheels not really matching the other on the right side of the trailer. Once I arrived at my family's home in MD (about 27 miles away) and before I undertook my 550 mile trip Southwards, I found that the tire was very low and the wheel looked mismatched to the other one. However, I was able to contact U-Haul's Roadside assistance and the staff was extremely helpful and solved my problem by completely replacing the within four hours, and well within the time that I needed to begin my trip the next morning.

Very quick and efficient. Was able to cut the checkin time to less than 5 mins with making a reservation. I'd recommend having kiosks for walkins to pre-register and see availability. The location on central ave, in capital heights, line is outrageous due to constant walk in traffic. I waited in a long line the day before for 30 mins before being told they were out of trucks. I didn't have a reservation. I was grateful that this location in landover was properly staffed and efficient.

The check in process needs to be inproved when we arrived at your location the log in device was in oprable forcing us to try to log in online from a cell phone I'm not sure if it went through or not Ineed my final bill thanks.
