I reserved a 20ft truck for 8 am with virtual pickup. I arrived at 8 and was unable to do virtual pick up as they never set it up. I waited till 9:00 when the location opened. They then were going to give me a 15 ft vehicle and I had to upgrade and pay more for a 26 foot truck. Then while using the truck it was found that the storage area of the truck had an excessive amount of black ants.

Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulEverything was going well till I got on the truck and started driving. The tire pressure monitor said the rear right tire needed air. Went to the nearest Wawa and filled up the tire and checked the other ones as well. The tire pressure monitor warning was still present. Decided to go back to the place I got the truck and call for service. They said it would be 90 minutes. I waited. Contacted them around the 90 minute mark and they said they didn’t know where I was after I had told them I was at the place I got the truck waiting. They said it would be another 90 minutes or so. I decided to just cancel the order. Got on the phone with a nice lady from U-haul that helped me through the return process and made notes to open a claim to get my money back since I didn’t use the truck. It’s been almost 3 weeks and I’m still waiting for them to call me back and issue the refund. I called them a week after the incident and they assured me they would call me back or email me. Again it’s been 3 weeks and I’m still waiting.
Miguel CAll went as smooth as possible. We rented a 26 foot truck but saw a 15 footer when we arrived. They had no problem switching the contract and renting us the 15 foot truck. Fast efficient service.
JOHN BI’ve had this same truck multiple times and the driver door doesn’t even close all the way. The service tire pressure sensor light was on. The truck yanks to the right when you hit the brakes. And there was probably 500 ants inside the cab as well as a spider and web in the corner. I wouldn’t even complain like this but it’s just too many things to not. The amount of ants was insane and disgusting.
