We did have one small problem with the end gate, someone had shut the gate with the chain jammed in it, but we were able to get it handled. Josh, from Uhaul was helpful with emergency information in case it was needed. Thank goodness we were able to dislodge the chain without further issue or wait.

Was assessed a $25 cleaning fee upon return for “crumbs” on passenger side floorboard. I had no passenger or ate any food during the truck rental. Past U-Hauls that I’ve rented numerous times, are never detailed and immaculate whenever I’ve rented them. I’ve called and sent numerous emails with no response from Corporate. I guess U-Haul expects their customer to detail the inside of their rented vehicles even if it was dirty from previous renter. Be careful renting from them. Lesson learned, no more business for them. Use Penske instead, their vehicles are always well maintained and spotless. They detail their vehicles after every rental. In the past, I’ve grabbed drink cups out and the guy said you can leave those in there we always clean the inside after each rental, that is our job… Nobody was around to drop off the U-Haul at 1:30 pm. Just a clock sign saying we’ll return at 2:30 pm.
