A copy of someone’s drivers license is the most often used way to begin identity theft. Your new policy of requiring a copy of a drivers license and scanning it into your uhaul computer system is inviting disaster for your customers. The local representative can check the physical license prior to renting the truck.

Tell us any fees and what needs to be done when returning the truck like the fuel has to be filled to the same amount and not overcharge a ridiculous fee when we have already filled the tank to begin with.

I obviously tried to fill the gas tank full, and was just barely below half and they charged me 12.75

When I picked up the vehicle I was told it has a full tank of gas, the gauge was at the full line. As per the odometer and my closing receipt I traveled 19.2 miles. It took 9.4 gallons to refuel, costing me $32.87. Now either your truck is only getting 2 mpg or it was not full when I picked it up. I would like you to consider a partial refund of the fuel costs to more accurately reflect a truck getting 9-10 mpg which is where your truck should be at the least.

Make sure the tires are not so bald that the customer needs to worry about having a blowout while on the road. The trailer I got was 39 years old and showed it. It should be retired or at least refurbished.

The website is easy to use, but does not tell you the address of the pickup or dropoff points on the confirmation or followup correspondence. All the address info is visible until you pay for the rig, then the e-mail refer to named locations rather than an address. Adding the address would be a nice touch -adding a linked address for driving directions would be super. Otherwise -good experience. Staff was great.

You can arrange the rental to be picked up where I asked for it. I had to go 90 miles out of my way with a days notice after driving over 1000 miles. At this point I would rent a $1000 Penske truck before renting a $300 trailer from Uhaul. You guys really pissed me off!

Very rude service we reserved a truck a month in advance (6/28) at the North Lynnwood location to find they gave it away. We were forced to go to Lake Stevens which was 40min out of our way and held us back 3hours + because of this delay. We also were moving across country and they didn’t care and even literally said so. I will never use them again. The bad of the truck had soda spilled on the seats and windows were very dirty. The tow dolly was just thrown on and beat up with nails left on the the tow dolly. Good thing I inspected or else we would’ve gotten a flat tire. I asked for help adjusting the side mirrors and was given “you can move them with your hands” THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED AT BOTH OF YOUR LOCATIONS. I expected way better treatment after they messed up but was just given attitude. For spending close to $2000 with U-Haul I didn’t expect $2 customer service!!!! I would pick 0 stars if it was an option.

We used the Self Check-In/Drop-Off via our mobile phones and had no communication with the personnel at this location. There were no signs posted showing where we should park the U-Haul, so we just parked next to the chain link fence that surrounded the property.

The experience at the pick-up/drop-off locations was excellent. The problems I ran into were with the on-line booking. When trying to set up a rental for a 6'x12' trailer in my location, there was little information or explanation as to what locations this could be accomplished. After wading through this process, I was asked how the best way to receive communications regarding this reservation, I requested via text message. I never did receive any test messages from U-Haul. Upon completion of the online request. It said that a representative would contract me for scheduling and finalizing the pick up location. I did receive an e-mail the following day again stating that I would receive something from a representative for confirming the pick up time and location. This did not happen. I then received another e-mail, that stated I would need to have my tow vehicle inspected to confirm the hitch and ball ratings were adequate for towing the trailer. No information as to what location would be able to complete this inspection. Trying to be proactive, I started calling all U-Haul rental facilities in my area trying to get this completed well in advance of my pick-up date, trying to expedite the pick-up process on the day of. Turns out, I was told that this could take place at the time of pick-up, and that getting this taken care of in advance was not necessary. Again, no one that I had talked to through the 1800 U-haul number had mentioned this to me. When I completed the inspection at a separate location two week in advance, I asked the person if he could update the status in my reservation to note that the inspection had been completed, he told me that they would have to look at it at the pick-up location anyway. Some time wasted at my expense that was not needed. Then when trying to confirm the finalized pick-up time and date noted in the e-mail provided, when trying to call the pick-up location called out (thinking that I was calling the specific Mini Storage facility), my call would ring through to the sales line and would be transferred several times before being told that I would not be contacted until the day before pick-up. This really is not convenient when trying to coordinate a move and especially when much of your help on moving day is from family and friends that would like to know what time to arrive to help. Then upon receiving a third e-mail stating that I would receive confirmation for pick-up by 6:00pm the day before the rental was set up. This did not happen. I again tried calling the mini storage facility that I was tentatively told would be the location for pick-up, and again the phone rang through to the call center where I was transferred several times being told that I had call the wrong number. Very frustrating. After this phone call, I then received two e-mails confirming the time and location of pick-up for the following day. There seems to be some sort of disconnect in the process that could be more clear from the onset and

Have had great experience with this location. Used 4 times now for flatbed and now today for tow dolly. The 2 gentleman that helped me throughout the name were nice and did their jobs perfect. But the tow dolly strap broke on is as we were loading the car. Had to go find other straps to finish the job. So 10/10 for workers and 5/10 for equipment today.

Fix the dang mobile reservation programming. There was NO option for me to select a return address and I did NOT at any time say I was staying in town. I'm angry. I was charged a lot of money in fines to drop it off near me to avoid having to drive it from spanaway, WA up to lake Stevens WA. FIX. THE. DANG. MOBILE. SITE.

The trailer was covered in sheet rock dust and plaster, it was so bad I had to use 4 large boxes to cover the floor so I could load my stuff. The trailer had major handling issues and felt as if I was towing a anchor behind me. It was jerking all over the place and really should be seen for maintenance and repairs. The inside was in a horrible state when we recieved it. I have picture to show how gross it was.

Nobody present during advertised business hours. Dropped of trailer and called the location once returned home, person answering phone not accommodating at all, was transferred twice and the 3rd person was in some U-haul call center, she processed return and confirmed via e-mail. All this does not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling about the experience.

Really great service. Mix up in the paper work, saying I was supposed to pick up the trailer the next day. Guy at the counter was easy going about getting it squared away so I could pick it up that day. And the rates for a trailer was off the hook cheap. Trailer worked real well

I would strictly recommend this facility for rental pickup / return for convenience purposes. It’s been quiet and non busy both times we’ve used the facility. However...When we picked up the rental on Tuesday I told the person at the desk that we needed the trailer until Friday and he said “not a problem I will add a day..” I was not aware that there was no day added. So Thursday came around and I hadn’t returned the trailer and received a somewhat abrupt voicemail from someone at the facility asking if I was going to return because he had someone waiting on the trailer. I promptly called him back and explained that the person at pickup said he set it up for an additional day. Furthermore, Both of these storage facility people told us we could drop off the trailer after hours. Luckily.. when we showed up just before 9pm a U-Haul employee happened to be there to tell us to make sure we process the return on the app and take good pictures especially since it’s after hours. Neither person at this storage facility mentioned anything to us about the app when I specifically told them I’d be doing an after hours return - seems like important information that was missed by two separate people. Otherwise happy with the trailer. Will always go with U-Haul. Thank you!

We dropped it off after hours and weren’t sure where to leave the key, and if it was okay to leave the hand trucks in the back of an unlocked cargo van. Then, later, I noticed a text with instructions. After moving for 10 hours, who wants to go online and fill out all this info required? Make it easier, in my opinion.

One employee helping another customer and I disconnected myself. The trailer was never checked for damage or if cleaning was needed. If this is common no wonder when I picked it up it was filthy inside and oil covered a third of floor. Took me half hour to clean.

The fella at the desk was enduring a monster customer while we watched in horror. He was amazing; calm, pleasant, unflappable. After she left, we approached and teased that we would be NO DRAMA, he was so professional, simply smiled and said, "I don't think I'll add anything" We all knew, but he was too classy to say - she was rotten. He had our truck ready and waiting, no nonsense. Timely, easy, pleasant.
