Adding an additional employee to improve customer service / wait time, answeringphones, etc...
I scheduled my pick up time for 9am and no one was there to even open the store till 10 am, put behind my entire day of moving and the people who took time out of there day to help me move. There were also about 6 other customers waiting to get there reserved uhaul as well, and one of them told me the same thing happened to him last Friday when he tried to get a uhaul .
i was told the day before i picked it up that mileage would be 0.69 and when i got there it was 0.79
Personnel were very helpful and friendly.
I returned my 6 x 12 cargo van at 8:30 pm. the return lanes were already filled with trucks and trailers, leaving no real room for me to leave my unit. Increase the space for after hour returns.
The after hours trailer drop off should not be behind the main building. Once you turn the corner to the rear you are trapped if both lanes are full of vehicles. Backing a trailer up around a corner is challenging to an experienced driver. I can't imagine what it would be for someone without my skills. My recommendation is to provide after hours drop off to the front of building. I know they want to have a lot of equipment on site for rent but I think they can rearange things up front to make it more convenient and safer for after hour trailer drop off. I won't be using that location after hours again.

Online check in took nearly half an hour. Even the guy working there seemed annoyed with how long it was taking. Plus, you guys overcharged me. I was told I drove the truck 25 miles, which simply wasn't true. I have photos to prove it was actually 19 miles, however I didn't feel like arguing over $6 with the guy working at the time. After getting my receipt, I realized the starting mileage was wrong and that was being charged for 6 miles before I even left the lot.

This is the worst experience I have ever had!!! Despite the fact that I reserved a 10' truck a month in advance, confirmed it as I was instructed to do the day before, I arrived at the Uhaul location and there was NO TRUCK. As most people are, I was on a set schedule, move out date, travel 700 miles, move in date one day later etc. Apparently when I called to confirm that my truck would in fact be there the day the following day, as I was instructed by Uhaul to do, I was in fact, not calling the location, I was unknowingly calling the â€œcall center,â€ who had absolutely NO idea what the actual location had on their lot. They were basing the confirmation by looking on the computer. And it was the LOCAL PHONE NUMBER OF THE UHAUL that I called! They NEVER told me that they were not the local Uhaul, they absolutely did not tell me that they were 10 states away, But they did tell me, â€œYep, you're all set, we've got your 10' truck.â€ (Originally I only needed a van but because UHaul doesn't allow their vans to go one way out of state, I had to size up to a 10' truck, which is what I reserved a month ago). When I arrived at the lot to pick up the truck and load it at my reserved time of 10:00 am, the 10' truck was not there, as I mentioned before. The employee searched the state for another 10 foot truck and there none available. I was offered a 15' truck which if you are a 20 year old and have never driven a 10', a 15' truck is substantially larger especially if you are driving through the mountains for the first time. I will have to say, the young employee who had to deal with this gigantic mess which was not HIS fault, (he had no idea that the call center confirmed the truck that HE DIDNT HAVE ON HIS LOT), was very professional. He didn't get at all agitated, as did we, and was very apologetic, offering us a larger truck with a discount. I think it's shameful the way Uhaul allows its â€œcall Centerâ€ to accept and confirm trucks for local locations!! The â€œcall centersâ€ should call the actual locations WITHOUT ONLY LOOKING ON LINE and confirm that the client's truck is there. Uhaul should however be awarded for their employee interviewing process.

Final drop Off was great. Please note, I was sent to the wrong location from the pickup point in Arkansas. It caused major activation. The place I went was on Kingston Highway was wrong and would NOT priced help!!!! I was on hold for 29 minutes while driving to Chapman hi way. Was told they had storage. They guy at uhaul Was an asshole. He would not help either. I drove to Clinton Highway and they were great. Long story short is it customer service was a zero out of ten. I will give u an opportunity to discuss with me prior to posting my issues in social media.

The facility interior was great!! My only complaint would be that there wasn't enough room for the employees to store the equipment.. I would also say â€œ kudosâ€ to the gentleman that helped me with my pick up.. It was a rainy day and he was stretched out checking people in and out. Plus getting equipment hooked up all with a positive attitude .. Bravo.
Truck cabin has a terrible smell of smoke. Person who checked me in was extremely rude. Was given a truck with slightly over 1/2 of a tank of gas. Extremely difficult to fill tank to this level. Should never give out a truck unless it's full. This, creating gas problems on return.
The manager was amazing and got us going when we had some emergencies during a move. Give this man a raise or a promotion! He really went above and beyond. He made sure we will be using U-Haul again.
