The first equipment I picked up had an issue with the tire but they graciously exchanged it and the gentleman that hooked it up was very helpful. I ended up only using it for an hour after realizing that I wasn't going to be able to use it so I returned it. I think it's horrible that I'm getting charged a full day and can't believe NOTHING can be done about it.ANN-MARGARET T.

I pulled in 8 minutes before posted closing time and everyone had left early. I had trouble backing into the one spot available so I just unloaded it. If you phone system and web site say your open till 6 then stay open to 6 good thing I had a jack with me so I could jack it up off the ball. First truck had a brake issue. Second truck roof leaked water and ruined a few boxes.HEYDEN D.
The truck was old and rattled incredibly loud while on the freeway. When trying to extend my rental on the website the link wouldn't work. Tried to call the number provided and the wait was 55 minutes. Tried to live chat with someone on the website and was directed to call a regional scheduler and that lady was incredibly unhelpful and told us we could not extend our rental. The closing of our home was pushed back and out of our control and the reason we went with Uhaul was the flexibility to change dates without issues. After we told the lady that we would be unable to make our scheduled return she said she would â€œmake note of itâ€. We then started receiving phone calls from a sassy lady asking â€œwhen are you bringing my truck backâ€. We literally tried to extend the rental and now you're mad?? It was extremely frustrating to have to deal with this during an already stressful time of buying our first home. I will never do business with Uhaul again and I will advise anyone I know to avoid Uhaul.Brandon D.
One item of importance: The truck that I rented had some sort of contaminant in the heater. The air coming our of the heater smelled odd. Every time I used the heater my sinuses and lungs became very congested. I developed a severe sore throat and lost my voice by the end of the trip. Finally, we ran into a snow storm in Montana at the end of the trip, which required the use of the heater.ERIC K.

We initially reserved a truck at Storage Plus of Old Katy. After waiting 30 minutes, the attendant finally arrived, according to the "hours or operation" sign on the door, she was an hour and a half late to work. We asked where the truck was and that we had reserved it. She said it was "double booked" and went back to her phone. We asked what we were supposed to do and she said the truck was gone, and there was nothing she could do. We were upset and she yelled "Get out". We left. We were scheduled to pick up the truck at 2 PM, by 2:20 PM I called the Franz Rd location of Storage Plus of Katy to determine if they could assist me. The gentleman I spoke to tried to contact the person at Storage Plus of Old Katy. He suggested that if he could not contact anyone, he would come over to assist us. We ended up talking to him 4 times. He should definitely be commended for trying to solve a problem for another location. The woman at Storage Plus of Old Katy should be reprimanded and trained on customer service or fired!MARK A.
