My trailer rental experience was horrible. My original reservation was confirmed at 6505 Fondern/Houston. When I arrived I was advised they didn't have one. I had to drive 105 miles round-trip to pu a transport from another location. As result I had a lot of unnecessary driving and 2 hours late for activity appointment. Original rental on Fondern was confirmed by text & phone. This is not my first experience with poor customer service with UHaul. This level is service is totally unacceptable!

Your employee that handled this rental was polite, conversational and knowledgeable. Outside he assisted us in preparing the trailer and connected it to our truck. One of the lights on the trailer was out and I thought we would have to disconnect the trailer and take another one. Your employee quickly identified the problem was with our truck, not your trailer. I honestly did not believe him. He asked us to open the hood and found the fuse that was burnt out. He had a new one and replaced it and the trailer lights worked. We had a great experience using car haul trailer from UHaul and will definitely rent from this store again.

We left the first time only to turn around and let the manager know that there was something wrong with the tow dolly. He inspected it and told me that it was a problem with my hitch height, adjusted it and told me that dolly's are just noisy. We left and drove to Austin with the dolly making a terrible noise and vibrating badly. Once we loaded it it got worse, shaking the towing vehicle very badly.Upon return I told the same manager of the problem and said that the tires on the dolly probably was not balanced. He inspected it and verified that was the case. He then told me I should have said something, I did before we left the second time. This was the worst experience I have every had towing a car. His ability to listen to a customer and provide great customer service is not there.

My only issue with this location was the fact that I just received a call asking about the dolly we had rented with our trailer. When we returned the trailer, we had the guy check in the back and confirm the dolly was there. So now I’m stressing because they never marked that we had returned the dolly as well so I do not know what will come of this issue....
