I returned my 10 foot uhaul that I rented for 4-6 hours. I was on the parking lot as the uhaul representative was observing equipment and settling Bill, he told me it would be $55.00, I told him it was on the side of the truck priced at $19.99 not $39.99 then he added $15.00 more dollars to make it $5500 I said do I need to go inside and get this settled right? He said no won't do you any good. I went inside and spoke to general manager my card had already been charged $55.00 he did refund to my card but it took 3 days to get my money back. This should never have happened! Every time I come there for a truck I get some kind of run around rather it's the fuel not being where they say it is when contract us signed or charges on my card that are not necessary. I have rented there numerous times and I can never get out of there and call the experience pleasant. It is always something not right. I should not have to fight for u Haul to be honest I their business and not try to gouge mineyout come that I do not owe.
I would have given an excellent rating, but they forgot to give us the dolly we had requested and paid for in our reservation.
Truck did not have a full tank of gas although they told me it did. I immediately told the guy who checked me out in the truck. He said he'd mark it down that it only has a quarter tank. He didnt! I had taken a picture of it before I left and when I turned it in of course they argued with me. This is the second time dealing with this particular location and there is a girl that works There and it really seems like she knows what she's doing. The rest act like they are stoners.

Patricia calls and says, the truck I rented is past due, and I explain it was picked up at 10:30 because the Homestead storage place by my house where I had reserved the truck didn't have it so I call uhaul they explain orange box code, not working then up Pops unavailable on my verification email, so wasted 2.5 hours to get one in Joplin. Then have to explain to them truck is on lot if they want me to send pictures of mileage and past full gas gauge with number on key ring as dropping in drop box Patricia tells me oh I guess we will look on the lot. Shouldn't you have done that first. You say the calls are recorded so listen to it. The whole process was a cluster and clearly nobody knows what they are doing and reserving online a joke or a scam you tell me.
this pick up location insisted the truck leave with a 1/4 tank of fuel and should be returned with the same, this is crazy it should go out this a full tank and be returned with a full tank all dealers should be consistent on this
I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone. This is such a shitshow and i will tell everyone i know to never use this company. The lack of common sense and care is what shocked me. You honestly made moving even more stressful.

We got charged too much on final bill suppose to be 29,95 ahd 25 miles they said 67 some thing got charged That and 753!!?????? MAybe that shouldn't happen
This experience was much improved from last time I rented from u haul. The storage facility is a nice option also.
The gentleman that checked me in/out was super nice and very helpful. Great experience!
Had a check engine light on when warming up the truck, very responsive and came out to get it resolved. Also was unable to get the web program to work on my phone, but they got me taken care of with no delay or problems.
GM Matt Reeder is AWESOME. Some mistakes on our end and the origin uhaul in Colorado incurred some extra fees. Matt listened to my complaint and made it right. Super awesome!
I was quoted a price after telling them I would be driving 1100 miles. I was charged over mileage from 750 instead of 1100.

First off the manager misread the fuel gauge when we went and inspected the vehicle. He marked it wrong on the contract . After using the vehicle, I filled the vehicle up to the fuel level I was dispatched with and returned it. The U-Haul employees then tried to charge me $30 extra dollars to fill up the tank with supposed loss of gas I didn't refill according to the system. I then showed them the contract and explained I had only driven 18 miles and filled the tank back to where I was left with it and they continued to argue and try to charge me. They wouldn't call a manager and told me to next time read the contract or don't come here. So very rude staff and not very welcoming of their customers.
