I reserved a van on Monday. I get a call Tuesday informing me the original location will be closed, but the van would be at another location Wednesday-the requested date. I go to get the van and it was after 9am time requested but no van! Excuse was two vans did not come back into the lot. Third van was sent for oil change knowing they had a request pending. We had an appointment with a realtor 60 miles away in the next 43 minutes. And as I was about to say cancel the whole thing after an hour and 20 minute wait, we got a van. Now mind you, I hired two young men to work for me over an hour ago. So I have wages to pay and going nowhere. Not happy with the service or rather lack of service. I think I did well to control my anger at this point. We completed our haul, wages paid. Put in more gas than required and return the truck. I did notice the previous cracked windshield about wiper blade level. Guess they will have the window replaced next time. Unfortunate I did point a finger at the checkin person and sounded as though I was accusing him for my trouble, when it was not him per se but u-haul logistics that failed. I apologised to him. The checkout girl said she would adjust my billing. This guy followed through on that adjustment. So, don’t promise if you cannot deliver! The van was not there, not ready as requested. The hassle this morning no one should go through. It was an aggravating 80 minutes. But to end a sour story, the young man and I shook hands, and wished each other a Merry Christmas.

I WAS OVERCHARGED FOR A SECOND DAY WHEN I TURNED IT IN ON DEC 10, 2017 NOT DEC 11 2017. THEY WERE CLOSED WHEN I GOT THERE AND IT WAS ONLY A 24 HOUR RENTAL. THIS NEEDS TO BE REFUNDED BACK TO MY MASTERCARD. THIS IS NOT GOOD, AND HAS NEVER HAPPENED WHEN I TURNED A TRUCK IN AFTER THEY WERE CLOSED IN THE PAST. JANIS LONG

The local Joplin location was great. The bitch at the call center was mean, rude, messed up my reservation, I had to made special trip to local office to fix after she screwed it up. On phone she said it was all my fault for not showing up on Sat. When my reservation was not even till Sunday. She even hung up on me.

All in all I had a great experience the only downside was when I was trying to return the truck. I had to sit out in the middle of 7th Street for about 10 mins while blocking the turning lane because there was a line.

I could not have asked for a better experience thanks to Brittany. She went above & beyond to make sure I got the right size trailer for hauling. She treated me like I was a personal friend or how you would want your mom to be treated. Appliance dolly was left off of the truck that I paid for. When I called to let them know, all I got was a call center and they said they would have the location call me back. Never happened. When I dropped off the truck I mentioned that I never got a call back and the excuse was that it gets busy. Let me just say that I was the only customer there when I picked up the truck and when I dropped off the truck and three people working. They had 6 hours before closing to call me back and never did.

I rented a van and the mileage was off. I went maybe 5 miles but they charged me for 23 miles.

The truck had issues with the outside passenger mirror. Could not adjust mirror to back up ,had to use driver side mirror.

Make sure that you aren't overcharging customers for their services. Make sure all your employees are on the same page. The staff was more than willing to assist me whenever I was over charged, and the customer service experience was good, but all the employees need to be on the same page that way mix ups don't happen.

The guy that waited on us was very rude and snotty and acted like we were bothering him and when there was a problem with our card and we called the bank he was even worse. The manager however got it taken care of and was very courteous.

Manager DID NOT LISTEN TO MY REQUEST OF RENTING THE EQUIPMENT FOR 24 hrs. Manager wrote a contract of 4 hr rental AGAINST MY WILL. I was SCAMMED BY THE MANAGER. I payed for 2 period instead of 1. Total rental time was less than 9 hrs. I AM REPORTING THIS SITE TO MY COLLEAGUES AT THE LOCAL NEWS PAPER AND HOPE TO PUSH THIS TO REGIONAL AND NATIONAL NEWS AFFILIATES.
