UHaul changed the pick-up location on me, without notice, which caused delays in my move, inconvenienced me and the movers I had scheduled, and caused me to incur additional costs due to the delay and lack of warning. I incurred additional cab fees, overtime charges for the movers, and extra hotel costs for having to spend an additional night on another hotel while on the road, because of delayed start time). The rep at the reserved pickup location claimed someone called me about changing the location but nothing was ever said to me about a location change, during any form of communication. I did not find out until after I flew across country and got a cab from the airport to the location on my reservation. I was then informed they did not have the truck I reserved, and they were not going to do anything about it. I had to pay for another cab to get to a different UHaul location because they refused to bring the truck to the reserved pick up location, and refused to have a staff member give me a lift to the second location. The rep made it clear he didn't care about the issues it caused for me, and was rude by insisting he spoke to me over the phone about it, which he did not. I called several times, between the time of the initial reservation and the day of arrival, to confirm the reservation. But the location change was never mentioned on any phone calls or in any emails. And then the rep on the Phoenix side did not care I had a bad experience, was rude, and rushed me out of the drop off location. I have rented Uhauls countless times and have never been treated this way. Any change in a reservation, especially one as important as a location change, should be in sent in writing. And the customer rep should be polite, at least act like they are listening, and actually care when something goes wrong that impacts the customer. I am tempted to submit the worst reviews possible on Google, Yelp, Better Business Bureau and maybe even other websites that have consumer warnings about poor service and not getting product and service value. Only thing I would suggest better computers .....outdated computer makes process slower. Everyone was very friendly.

Only issue I had was the card machine didn’t work properly after attempting to use 2 different cards. The sales associate had to manually input my card info for payment.

Thank you for your service. Keep advicing people on how to save money. I almost cancel my truck, due to the .99 cents charge, but thank you to young man that make me understand that I can save a lot money by dropping off at the same place, and take short routes.

The guy in charge is a big black guy with glasses. He left me in line to go outside to have a 10 minute conversation with a friend in front of the store. When I asked him why he neglected to provide service, i was met with ignorance and disrespect. This should all be on tape. Went inside the store while he mumbled and cursed and then proceeded to give even more ignorance. I told him he was wrong and there is no need for his behaviour. Then he refused to help me and helped the next person in line. To see this in action just check hour tapes. Contact me if you need any further info. This guy should not respect your company. Also the review of this store is already similar to the one im giving. The younger guy was very helpful and prompt after he finished helping the elderly customer. Fat guy with glasses was rude and needs to be replaced.

Odometer readings should be accurate and checked by staff before renting. My odometer readings were off and a 16mi trip turned into 25mi trip according to what was previosly entered into the system. System is not synced well, so i had to return to the store to discuss all of the extra charges.

Made the mistake of not getting the insurance, after loading my stuff, it poured down raining and in the inside of the truck got wet, have of my things are soaking wet and not unable to use.
