We had rented a 10' truck wanting to have the right-sized truck for the job. When we arrived to pick up our rental, there was a 10' truck in the parking lot (the same one that was there when I made my reservation), but they wouldn't let us have it. They said it was too old and was only used for local rentals. I would have liked to know it would not be available when i made my reservation. Instead, we were forced into an "upgrade," which was a larger vehicle that was more difficult to maneuver. So...in the future...f someone wants to rent a 10' truck from that location, the staff should explain that particular 10' unit is for local rentals only, and a suitable (i.e., newer) 10' truck for cross-state moves may not be available.

• Dirty rental — chip bags and trash under and throughout the vehicle. • Staff— the owner of the store was very nice and understanding of the certain factors and conditions pertaining to me moving homes. Dominique on the other hand needs work. Very rude, un-welcoming, and the lack of customer service. Very disappointing. I find it very hard, almost impossible that I will use U-Haul again after this experience.

The lady employee is very helpful and quick. The fellow is a bit laid back and seems uninterested in taking care of you. However, I might have seen him on an off night. The next time I saw him, he seemed much more involved in the work. Also, UHaul itself needs to improve its customer service telephone service. I was on hold for more than 45 minutes and finally gave up, cancelling the rental because I couldn't get help on the phone when the code I was sent did not work.

Better customer service. When a customer advises that they are gonna be late to give them time not demanding they be back because yall lost a customer, they were rude about the situation and not understanding when the customer said they were traveling with the vehicle

I’ve had a couple good experiences with this location, and will likely be returning, but this time when I came to return the rented vehicle, I waited for probably 10 minutes and no employees were to be found. There was no way to ring for someone either. I saw a phone on the wall that said pick up for customer service, but when I picked it up, it said the number was out of service. I had somewhere to be afterward and could not wait longer, so I left the keys on the counter but was concerned about doing so. Hopefully this does not happen to anyone else, and a way to page the employee or even a bell at the counter could help.

My reservation was for 9:00a I didn’t get checked out until after 10:00a. The gentleman seemed to not know what he was doing. I did everything online so it be a quick in and out but still had to go through the process of the rental again in the store. I asked the gentleman to get customer service on the phone and his response was “you can call the same number I can” Then when returning equipment he was on a personal call and it took another employee 10 minutes to come outside and accept my return. Highly Disappointed in my experience and have always used U-Haul. I’m thinking it’s time to go elsewhere next time

Lady attending counter could improve customer service by choosing better language skills. “I don’t care where your dropping it off.” I wanna know where your gonna be unloadin’ it.” Doesn’t improve a customers experience. Also,the lot where the truck was picked up is on a hill. So once you get the truck on level road the fuel gauge reads an eighth of a tank lower than it does when you pick it up.

We were scheduled to pick up the uhaul at 7am, the store opens at 7am and no one showed up until8am. Not very happy with the customer service we received.

I think they gave us the rattiest 5x8 they had because they knew they would not see it again. No major damage, just worn out faded with rusted wheels. It served its purpose so it wasn't all bad.

Biggest issue when picking up my truck was; my wife and I set everything up and spent like an hour online creating our reservation. Even took pictures of my license and everything that was required. Get to the location and the lady at the front desk has to completely redo our entire contract and took an extra 45 minutes because of that. Not horrible but very frustrating. If I knew it was going to go that way I wouldn't have done everything online first.

Give more than 12 hours notice if you are changing the reservation. I booked a 1 way rental with 30 miles, was given an additional 50 miles because I had to drive out of my way to pick up after you changed the reservation 12 hours before the pick up. Once there my rental way changed to an in town rental where I would have to pay for all mileage. I was charged up front for 100 miles and then told that they would take 50 miles off of what I used after I returned the truck putting a hold on my account. The truck was a rolling death trap. You could not adjust the mirrors and the check engine light was on which was known by the owner who said to drive it anyways. The owner was rude and acted like it was my fault that the reservation was changed and she could not get the computer system to do things to correct the issues. The customer should not be charged extra or be made to feel that this is their fault if the company has to change the reservation because they cannot get it together for whatever reason. At one point she glared and stated "do you want the truck or not?" On anther note, it is also extremely rude to answer your personal cell phone when waiting on a customer. I don't care if you are the owner.
