Worst customer service I have ever experienced at Uhaul. Not to mention my reservation was at 7am and the worker didn’t get there until 7:10 and wasn’t ready to serve us until 7:15 and didn’t leave with the van until 730. I will be contacting corporate.

Your online and telephone reservation process is HORRIBLE!!! I use U-Haul a few times a year and have never had as much trouble as I did this time! To be told I have a cargo van reserved and at a particular location only to be called and told that's not so is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! This happened to me twice when needing a cargo van this time. That is NOT how you treat people and how to conduct business. This caused a great deal of stress and was an enormous inconvenience! Shame on you for doing that to people!

I wanted to take a few minutes to tell you about my experience with my last move from Uhaul. Quashon Gridine was great at helping me returning the 10 ft truck i rented. He even went out of his way to call me to see if I needed the truck for a few more hours. Also, he was the only clerk at that location and it was a busy day. 4/5 other customers waiting for simple tasks to be done and he was the only employee!. Very bad employee scheduling if you ask me. When you move, things are already stressful enough and to wait an extra 30 to 45 minutes to just to pick - up your rented truck and/or return them adds more stress to that day. To put customers and one single employee in the hot seat is terrible manager scheduling. It made the move more inconvenient. I give Quashon 10 stars and a raise to manager position. He was friendly, and his communication was great while he was running all over the place assisting 3 other customers!!!. Not including me and another customer to pay a bill!. We are in the age of technology and we should be able to use our smartphones for simple tasks, (ie) bill pay, checking in and returning etc! When I called the Cust Serv # on the wall they hung up on me and said sorry was having technical problems.. Really? It consists of having difficulty obtaining a storage through Uhaul and couldn't get the code to enter the storage facility. I went online to sign docs and get code but wouldn't allow me to sign it. When I called to get the storage unit, I wasn't briefed on the extra steps that had to be taken to get code and card to get me in. I had to get a ride from a friend to drive me to the Blanding location. Apparently that is the only place that can set it up and generate a keycard. I thought I could just go online when i arrived and set it up. Had to call customer service from gate to find this out after 3 phone calls. Very exhausting and inconvenient after moving out of my apartment on the 2nd floor to first floor into the Uhaul truck. If I didn't have someone helping me to drive me to the Blanding Blvd location, I would have had to drive the Uhaul truck and waste more gas and mileage on that it that was loaded. Makes zero sense. It needs to be clarified during the reserving of the trucks and/or make it user friendly on the online app so everything can be set up then. To stop for 2 hours while the clock is ticking to return the trucks is counter - productive. Please get more help at that location!!!!

I was never contacted about final bill. I paid with cash and each time I spoke to someone I explained that I don't keep over 20.00 in checking for fear of scammers. My card was billed for 383.00 which cause a fraud alert phone call. I explained this was not an authorized purchase. That caused a snowball affect with all authorized purchase declining. I didn't refuse to pay. I didn't have a way to get to the office. Half of my belongings are stored on site. Why bill some one card without their approval. Better communication Please.

The staff was courteous and helpful. Initially I requested a different location, but they didn't have the cargo van that I needed and referred me to this one that was just as convenient as the other. My vehicle was ready when I arrived. I completed the check-in process to reduce time in processing my pick-up. I was not as well as I thought and when I arrived at home I was not able to do anything that evening and most of the next day that I moving items. I had to leave to go out of town the evening of returning the vehicle. I had to extend the return day. They told me no problem. I was so glad because I ended up not returning the van 3;days later. I don't have any complaints. I also want to commend Uhaul for hiring young people. They were just as professional as the older employees.

NO. This truck was terrible, a pure gas hog, fuel saver did not work, after getting on Interstate person following me saw several lights and brake lights weren't working on the truck,so I had to be followed all the way to Cocoa,Fl.,then to Titusville,Fl. to turn the truck in. The black man in Jax. at U Haul ,did not check lights,or anything, just pulled truck up,told me it was ready and good to go, he was in a hurry.

Shorten the checkout time. I felt that it took a little too much time checking out the truck even though I had reservation. Other than that the experience was good.

Do not take money from an elder renting a storage unit and then change the name on it because someone wants to take it over. The money is paid in good faith that it will be a protected investment. You should also get your story straight about adding a person to the unit as secondary user but not taking the rights from the one who rented it. There is a difference but the mistake has been made and I am no longer on the account. Very bad business.
