I walked into the Issaquah Uhaul location to see if a vehicle was available to rent and the person behind the front desk told me to leave and he will call me back in an hour. His reason was, "I need to check to make sure the vehicles are clean and check to make sure there are not any online orders." I went back to my car and noticed a couple walking in the front door after me. While in my car, I used the internet on my phone to see if any rentals were available at this Uhaul location I was at. There were rentals available, and I was not picky as to which truck, so I rented a truck online and then walked back inside. The person behind the desk had rented a truck to the couple that walked in after me and he told the couple something like this, "It's a good thing you walked in when you did because sometimes the online rental will book a vehicle before I can process a walk in customer." Why did he rent a vehicle to them and not me? Then I told him I rented a vehicle online and he started the process of giving me the contract and keys. Terrible customer service.

The Van's cargo mat was wet. My guess is that these vans aren't weather tight because each morning there was some wetness on the black cargo mat.

I went to pick up the reserved van. It was not available because it had not been "properly checked in". I was offered the cargo for the same price which I reluctantly accepted. (Gas mileage was poor). I also requested a appliance dolly that I paid for. I left with the truck and about 10 miles down the road I though to check and make the appliance dolly was in my truck. IT WAS NOT! I had to turn around, go back to the rental location, and pick up the dolly. (20 miles later). From there I had no further issues except for the increase in cost driving the extra miles and consuming more gas.

I made a reservation for a truck to be picked up at 8, and there was no key for me to pick up. I called your 24 service 3 times and left a message and no one responded. I then called customer service and their solution was to wait for the office to open at 10 am. When the office did open the storage facility said that “U-Haul screwed them again” and kept on saying that it wasn’t their fault and it had happened in the past that there was a pickup needing to happen and no one told them so no one left a key. If this had happened before shouldn’t there be something done to fix it. I got my truck that I already rented but now I was behind schedule trying to be talked into getting all the extra moving equipment that I already decided I didn’t want 3 weeks ago when I made the reservation. And Becuase of this setback I missed dinner with my family and was rushing to move all of my stuff.

The Issaquah location put the wrong miles back and I have called customer service three times with the response we will have the agent call you back. It’s 5 days later and no calls back. They added 50 miles, probably by accident but I want this resolved.

Easy pick up. Store employee was professional, friendly and helpful. Truck required a few tries to start each time, but ran well once started. I reported this to store employee. Nice, easy experience. Great to have the dedicated parking spaces in tbe parking garage also.

I placed an order for after-hours pickup well over a week before the reservation. During the pickup process, I opened the lockbox and found it empty - the key was not in my lockbox. At the time (around 8-9AM on Sunday morning), nobody picked up at the 24/7 customer support number mentioned on the website for the pickup process - I called at least 3 times and only got voicemail. The main customer service number for all of uhaul also never picked up - I was on hold for 15 minutes before giving up. When I cancelled the online wizard, for some reason the system cancelled my reservation and the truck immediately went to someone else. This threw off my plans by a day and I had to take a week day off to move. Please contact whoever works at this location on Saturday and request that they actually do their job and prepare the after-hours reservations. Whoever this employee was, their neglect due to not leaving the key in the lockbox caused me quite a bit of frustration. I did stick around at the location until it opened and the employee who was working on Sunday was fortunately much more helpful.

The only problem here is parking my vehicle while I'm using the U-Haul truck, I know I'm going to get dinged for using the parking lot across the street at some point, but other than that, this is ideal for me.

I drove for 7 miles TOTAL and filled a half gallon of gas. Even after that, they charged me for 2 gallons of gas. This is unfair and wrong. I am extremely disappointed.

The Issaquah location has some great professionals working there who care about customer satisfaction. The reservation system needs to be fixed where when I book a truck it needs to be there for me not just a “I would like a truck and uhaul gets back to me with a different time.”

The local people working with Uhaul are excellent and try their best to fix the crap Uhaul does to their customers. We had a reservation for a truck for Sammamish plateau for Saturday and 9am, but were told a few days ahead that we could only get a truck at Renton - over 20 miles away. So it on me to drive the truck an extra 40 miles when I am paying for mileage? That is a horrible thing to do to a customer. Only by going to the Sammamish Plateau in person was my wife able to get a truck confirmed for 9am from Issaquah. When we got to Issaquah at 9am, we were told our reservation was for 10am. The person there worked some magic and got us a truck early. I believe this is the last time I use Uhaul because this is not the first time we have had to juggle trucks to ensure we had one.

I got charged for $10 of gas even when I refilled 2 gal of gas before I returned the truck after hours. This is rediculous because I only put 7 miles on it! If their calculation were right, it would mean the mpg is only 7/4= 1.75 for the 10 foot truck! Their website says the mpg is 12!!! Really bad experience!
